"It’s not 5 or 4 * , but good location , excellent reception (Nicola) , clean and comfortable rooms . Good restaurant below and around the area . Everything walkable . Train station to hotel about 20 - 25 minute walk … either cases phewww !!! There is a river taxi 1 , but can be packed ! … otherwise , definitely recommend , I’d stay again . "

"The location of the hotel was perfect, only an 5-10 minute walk from the train station, and the staff was beyond accommodating and friendly. However, although the hotel Is clean, it is very tired and needs a facelift. The beds felt like prison issue, I don’t think we’ve ever slept on anything so hard and thin. The shower was small but it had amazing water pressure with hot water. I think it’s fine for one night but anything longer would be very uncomfortable. "

"The location of the hotel is great. However, some cons: they charge you if you check in later than 8pm (we didn’t, but something to note). There is no one on location after 8pm, so if you need anything, you’re out of luck until the next day. I wanted more pillows, because the one provided was basically a flat pancake, but I had to deal with it because it was past 8pm. If you want to check out early (before like 10am or something?) you have to remember to do it the night before, otherwise I don’t...

"Good location, a very clean and comfortable room with an updated bathroom. As with any older building, hallway noise can be an issue but earplugs take care of that. I would definitely stay here again."

"Ca’ San Polo was the prefect location for our visit to Venice. Room was clean and exactly what was needed for two nights, we just used the room to recover after a walking everywhere. Location was great and breakfast was simple but enough variety for all. Pastries, bread, cold cuts/cheese and beverages. Would recommend to any one visiting "

"Nice hotel in Venice. Close to restaurants and bars, less than 5 min walk from Sant'Angelo boat station. Easy to walk to Rialto bridge and Piazza San Marco. Breakfast was nice with good coffee. Few seats outside the room if you want to read or other. We would go back."

"Please beware if you book a room at the top, I believe we had a superior room, heat rises and although it was rainy and dreary it was HOT UP THERE! Apparently during the month of May, they do not run the AC at all. When we were in the lobby it was COLD. However our room was uncomfortably warm and the only thing was to open windows and have a fan! I wish we were told this. We were not recognized as Expedia VIP members, no perks. Communication regarding getting there via water taxi was great,...

A large supermarket and McDonalds nearby with around 8 minutes walk, very convenient when we wanted to cook dinner ourselves using the mini kitchen. Also near to Mestre train station with around 10 minutes walk, surrounded by many different hotels and you can feel that the road is safe "
