"OH MY GOODNESS! EXCELLENT! EXCELLENT! SPECTACULAR! The yard and home are beautiful. I received a very warm welcome from Chemise. She served delicious breakfasts in the dining room every morning and was always available if I needed anything. Outside there are garden areas with chairs and tables. It was wonderful to sit and relax while hearing their water fountains. Amethyst Garden Inn is in a great neighborhood. Easy to walk to restaurants, shops and tourist spots. "The only issue was lack of an elevator. My wife overpacks and it was a challenge getting upstairs with a 100 pound suitcase. Very central location and newly renovated was a plus."

"Reasonable rates but has parking fees which are stupid as you are paying to park in their lot! Should be included in the room rate! Very convenient to the river district with lots of dining and shopping options. Easy walking to the city market! Room was clean and bathroom was very large! Room cleaners did not speak english so hard to ask for extra towels or toilet paper!"

"We need a place to sleep at our destinations half way point, traveling with kids at night. Checked in at 1:30am. Manager was very nice, joked around with the sleepy kiddos which was perfect after a long ride. The room was clean but slightly outdated. The tub has some old mold around the caulking but overall was clean. Perfect for a quick stay."
