Big Bear Cabin - Cabin Getaway - Private hot tub - Community Pool!

Welcome to Big Bear Cabin!

Kingfisher Cove unit #16 (Big Bear Cabin) is located in this wonderful community of 29 luxurious cedar log cabins. Nestled in the woods surrounding no-wake Goshorn Lake. The “up north” feeling cottages are only two minutes from downtown Saugatuck. A crafted floor plan that features three bedrooms (including a fabulous master suite), two full baths, an all wood interior, a great room with a towering stone fireplace, a cozy loft that acts as a sitting room and TV area, an open kitchen and a dining area with a view. Huge screened-in porch in back with a full size hot tub or sit on the front porch that overlooks the pool. Lots of outdoor and indoor things to do!

THE LOCATION
King Fisher Cove is a short five minute drive to downtown Saugatuck, ten minutes to Oval Beach, and a fifteen minute to Holland. Dune ride are just down the road (2 minutes)

Big Bear Cabin is a stand alone cabin in the King Fisher Cove association. If you are a larger group looking for a few homes in the same complex, look no further! We manage two other cabins in this complex, Gecko Get Away and Our Get Aweigh. The three cabins are intended to be rented separately, with separate entrances and private areas, but could easily be rented together for multiple families or couples to enjoy. Big Bear Cabin
Location was great and cabin appeared as in pictures, however we encountered several maintenance issues. Property management was responsive and sent maintenence out the next day to fix shower drain. Loved the community of cabins, just encountered too many issues during our short stay to stay again.

I can’t recommend this cabin enough. Beautiful area, beautiful cabin. Community pool and lake. Can’t imagine a better get away for friends or family. Great communication from the host. Highly recommend!

Great stay.
Everyone had a blast. Hot tub was hot! We loved it. Kitchen had everything you need. Tons of pans, etc. The grill was dirty when we got there and had no brush, so we left one there for next guest. Was super nice grilling and making dinner there! The board walk is very close (used the supplied kayaks and had a blast!) and so is the pool (clean!). The kids had a great time with the games they found throughout the house. One thing what we didn’t like, was there was no locks on any of the bedrooms, but we made do. Great stay! We’d do it again!

Lovely stay in a location we have not stayed before. Welcoming and clean. Front and back patios could use a bit of sweeping and weeding but otherwise very nice home to come home to after a fun day of exploring. Thank you.

Great Long Weekend Escape - Excellent Location
The two best things I can say about a booking is: 1) Everything was as described, pictured and promised; 2) I would book this property again. We enjoyed our stay a great deal. The cabin is conveniently located. Even though it was too cold for us to use the pool, it was right outside our door (very convenient for those who rent once it gets warm enough.) We had no issues during our stay - everything worked, it was peaceful, and very comfortable. Things we very much liked: 1) Screened in back porch (although it was cold enough during our weekend that bugs were not an issue;) 2) Hot tub - very warm and clean 3) Fire Pit - great way to spend the evening outside 4) Grill - brand new grill worked flawlessly (had filet and lobster tails.) 5) Cabin had everything we needed, and everything worked. Things you may wish to consider if booking: 1) Cabin has only 2 bathrooms; not sure how more than 6 people in the cabin would work. 2) Lots of paperwork that is not detailed in the listing on VRBO that needs to be signed / completed (I felt like I was signing my life away with all the terms and conditions.) 3) WiFi code as listed on the refrigerator is wrong - typo. This should be corrected as it could cause confusion, etc..

Labor Day Weekend Friends Trip
