There is no nearby grocery, and our room did not have a fridge or desk/table -- this isn't someplace you go to "get work done." There is a beautiful walking trail, and soon a tower to eagle-watch. "I've stayed there many times over the past 6 years. This was a VERY last minute stay, booked it through here, showed up 30min later, great night check-in, went to the room. It's not the most fancy of hotels, but it's a good price and the folks are friendly."
