We normally stay here for our boat weekends at CBs Outfitters, and usually our stays are fine. Location is great, price is normally reasonable, and the rooms are clean and comfy. Since changing to Hilton from Best Western there have been minor upgrades and I think the bedding was upgraded because the sheets and bed were sooooo comfortable. Pillows sucked though. The pool bar is fun, limited on N/A options. Only major issue this stay, the hotel didn’t have hot water at all, so freezing showers were incredibly uncomfortable. Nothing but condolences for the inconvenience which is frustrating since we paid abut $170/night.

When we arrived at the hotel the gentleman behind the counter was very rude. I am Hispanic and my husband is Asain, He was Caucasian he was the only one there, when he asked for our name he clearly misunderstood what I said my first name was, at that point he became very agitated and was rude ….it was unbelievable how rude he was, that is not what I expected at all. I think he knew he had upset me because then he tried to be nice but it was very hard to get past how he had treated us when we first arrived.

It was a pretty cute little hotel stay. My partner and I stayed for 7 days and it was nice. Lots and lots of easily walkable coffee shops, restaurants, and things to do. There was tons of road construction during our stay which made things a little difficult, but not the hotels fault of course. The room was good. It was pretty clean and had a really nice TV, awesome pool area, and staff was nice. It is a good spot for if your room is just kind of your home base. We spent most of our time at the beach and would just kind of end the day in the room after hitting the pool bar!

The location to the beach is close. Beware very little parking at the beach so might sway if you stay here versus staying beachfront. It was basic but yet classy with poolside fireplace. Breakfast was grab and go with toast and bagels. The doors to room are outside so reminds me of 1-2stars hotels. The rooms were clean. Would stay here again.

Beds were so comfortable. Pool area was great! Pool was warm, bar was great and they had some live music. We only stayed one night so no major complaints other than the room could have been cleaner, some mold/grime around tubs. Staff was so nice and friendly.

Polyester bedding is not possible to sleep in synthetic material! The air conditioner in the room is very noisy with a view of the trash cans that are emptied at 6 in the morning! This level should cost half as much!

We love the area it’s located in. Very convenient to a lot of stores/restaurants and less than a 10 minute drive to siesta beach. We love the pool and outdoor area. There’s a few extra toys kept down by the pool so the kids have something to play with if they forget their own. The pool bar made my kids virgin smoothies so they loved that, as well. This is my husband and i’s second time staying in this hotel, a first for our kids. We have thoroughly enjoyed it both times and my kids loved it for their first time.

Very close to the beach, which is the only plus. Downside is the hotel needs some TLC, very outdated. Beds are extremely uncomfortable, you can hear the springs when you get up which is disappointing for a Hilton. Continental breakfast has no hot items only bagels, yogurt, and apples. Pay the extra and get a nicer hotel for the convenience.

my only concern is that the pool bar was only open starting on Wends and you had to pay cash or credit card. You could not charge it to the room. Otherwise, it was a great stay.

We are also trying to find a solution to enable our guests to charge to the room but I am sorry that you experienced this inconvenience during your stay.

We loved our stay at Spark and the gentlemen that checked us in was friendly. We loved that everything was close by like restaurants and shopping and the beach was also close. The beds were very comfortable and clean and the room had a big tv. The one thing that we didn’t like was the bathroom had some mold in it which gives my review 4 stars. I would stay here again but definitely need to have the bathrooms cleaner with no mold.

The location was great. The pool was very good although an attendant would be nice to help discipline young adults as parents could not. We were disappointed that the “breakfast” was bagel without cream cheese. Our vacation timing was not good as it coincided with the parking lot repaving.

After reading the reviews, I was skeptical but we had great experience staying at Spark. The hotel was clean and had housekeeping daily. As we didn't need it every day but it was available. The breakfast was a bagel bar with cereal, yogurt, and oatmeal. The coffee was always fresh in the lobby. The pool and hot tub was clean. We used the hot tub each night. The fireplace was amazing to sit around, if you just wanted to relax. There was a bar and on Thursday they had a gentleman singing out by poolbar. You can walk to different restaurants, a little shopping center and a short walk over the bridge to the beach, and restaurants. If you didn't want to drive, Johnny's taxi was just a call away ( their fee is by tips so be mindful and tip accordingly) or you can take a short walk over the bridge and catch the trolley to the village. The staff were extremely nice and helpful.

Pool is nice and rooms are clean and well kept. Outside-facing doors can be a bit loud with people walking by and vehicles. There is a “free” shuttle that can take you to Siesta Key for a suggested tip of $3-$5 per person.
