"Loved the hotel and location. Very nice staff. Unfortunately we had people in next room that were beyond noisy from the time they arrived at 2:15 am."
"There was a waitress in the dining area that was super pleasant and attentive. Always going the extra mile. Her service was appreciated and didn't go unnoticed.
The property is a bit dated, thus the average rating. Simple, not fancy. Plenty good for me."
"I had read the reviews from others who have stayed at the Inn and must agree that our stay was quite good. The friendly receptionist was accommodating to my request for a ground-floor room. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. My husband and I would definitely stay there in the future."
"We had a great stay at this hotel. It was our first time there and the hotel was a good choice. We had the jr. tower suite and it was a nice size for us and out pet. Easy walk to all the shops and restaurants. Never needed our car at all"

"Couldn't beat the price, it was clean, had breakfast, parking and good service "

"AMAZING place! Cute, peaceful, with beautiful flowers and plant trellises all over. It gives an English cottage vibe. My Fiance and I LOVED our time here. But my favorite part is how much you get for your money. When we checked in they let us know there was a complimentary champagne bottle in our room, complimentary breakfast served 7am-10am and free bike and DVD rentals upon request! It feels like you can actually go on vacation and just just relax and have fun and enjoy the hotel and space and area and the staff are so nice and helpful!
I don't think I've ever been at a hotel where it didn't feel like I was price gouged, but also the place was out of a storybook, the area is RIGHT by downtown AND the beach, and so much comes with your room.
This was truly my favorite hotel I've ever stayed in. Highly recommend!"

"This was our second stay at La Playa Inn. Staff were super helpful and attentive, which we appreciated. For both stays we booked a deluxe king room; the room was located in a quiet area, was clean, spacious, and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. The La Playa Inn has become our preferred hotel when we are in the area. "

"They had a continental breakfast. There were a ton of dinner options near by. The staff was very polite and they made the check in and out quick and easy."
"We absolutely LOVED everything about this quaint little hotel nestled beneath the palm trees near the beach. The customer service was top notch from the welcome email received right after booking, to the follow up saying they were looking forward to our arrival. Ben at the front desk treated us like family from the moment we walked in, greeting us with fresh coffee, warm cookies and the inside scoop on a map with everything we would want to see within walking distance. We were pleasantly surprised to find that our room was actually a suite with a full living room & kitchenette that included a full size refrigerator, microwave, dishes and even wine glasses. It was super clean with lots of smart upgrades and the bed was super comfy. All the amenities of home. Definitely one of the nicest places we have ever stayed. We will certainly stay there again and tell all our friends to do the same. Thank you Franciscan for being so fabulous! "
