"The property has a charm .... its location is also a plus since it is on The Grand Canal. It could also use further upgrading... a lobby configuration that is freshened up and more conducive to sitting and watching the passers bye. the ventilation system is limited in that during the evening when I required cooling, I had to open windows for coolness... this allowed the late night street noise to come in. The BIGGEST plus is how friendly and helpful the vast majority of the staff was!!!"

"The location was fine, safe and quiet. Other than that very disappointed. When I arrived after hours found my key in the coded key box following the instructions. However the towels left on my bed were damp. Room and toilet very small but this is maybe normal for Venice. Only 2 pillows provided and they were very flat and hard. The place is badly in need of a makeover. The bathroom was grungy, mould on the tiles. Shower stall was tiny and the shower fixture was falling off the wall. The...
