La Serena didn’t honor the reservation we made on Expedia. We chose La Serena because it is listed as a pet friendly hotel but when we arrived with a small dog, we were turned away. La Serena has five rooms with linoleum where pets are allowed but pets are not allowed in the rooms that have carpet. We saw other people arriving with dogs, also turned away. La Serena should not be listed as pet friendly

My family stayed in the 2 bedroom with full kitchen and were very happy with our stay. The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean and safe. The kitchen was fully stocked with essentials. Our stay here was much better than many of the Airbnb's. I would highly recommend. Great value!
