"Our stay was superlative. The lodge is beautiful and comfortable and kept immaculate by the hosts. The hosts go out of their way to assure guests of a rewarding experience, sharing stories of their animals, who play a starring role at the lodge, cooking ample and individualized breakfasts, taking guests on scheduled or impromptu tours of their goat, chicken, llama farm. We also enjoyed the greenhouse where many herbs and flowers prosper. Our two days were restful and most enjoyable. "

"This is our 2nd time staying at Salida Inn. Both were great experiences, including floating in the hot tub. The rooms are large and well designed. I like that the sink is outside of the bathroom, so one person can be showering while the other is brushing their teeth. Check in was super easy as well."

"Otherwise excellent in all respects, the one black mark was the lack of supplies at breakfast and its closing an hour before the announced time of 10:00."

"Great, centralized location to safely lay your head in between adventures. Amenities are very basic but the facility is a perfect staging area. Meeting other guests in between their adventures is fun also. HVAC didn’t work but adjusted with another clothing layer at night. Best thing: there’s ALWAYS a view! And, sitting outside of your room in their little chairs to breathe in the air before starting the day."

"Served its purpose. Rooms were not sound proof very well. Could hear the neighbors and the heavy foot folks upstairs. Bed was comfy and tv was good. Clean and comfortable aside from the noise. Breakfast was not much to see, and opted to not even utilize the free breakfast after the first day. Hot tub and pool were nice, very popular. "
