"Just stayed a wonderful week at this amazing property. Rented a car from Thompson-Honda fit ($330) for the week. That is all you need. You don’t need a Jeep. Trust me. We went every place on the island you can go and it was fine. Only used 1/4 tank the whole week and we were gone everyday. The Nixon house is perfect for a getaway. Is 30 mintues from Georgetown, so plan for that, but access to amazing beaches is easy, and close to Exuma Water Sports as well for pig tours, etc. Overall would stay here again. Bring food and plan on having some meals made at the villa you cook yourself as some of the local dining spot's including the one offered by this host, may or may not be open. We could never really get solid answers on if the cafe on site was open or closed and getting sold...

Blu Hues is an exceptional place to stay.
"My husband and I have visited Exuma many times. We brought our family on this trip. Rick has the most beautiful and well maintained place. We stayed in the main house plus the guest house since we needed the space. Everyone was very comfortable. We loved being so close to the beach that was within walking distance. We used the pool almost every day. The kids especially loved it. The rentals were well stocked with everything we needed from cooking supplies to poll floats and kayaks. The location is perfect and has the ultimate view! We absolutely enjoyed our stay and plan to stay at Blu Hues again."
