"My husband and I visited in late October and were so happy we chose this home. The coastal view was unreal and the seals popping up were so special and we got a lot of enjoyment watching the local bird life as well! On a clear night the moon and stars shown so brightly over the water it was incredible. On our last day we chatted with the neighbor who is also the owner and learned some fun information about the house and life on the coast. Please know that the road to get to the house in unpaved...

"We have family that have a home 1 block away so utilized this space to sleep and to escape to when my social battery drained. :). This place was perfect. (And May have the biggest TV I have seen in real life…). Lydia was very responsive and communicative. No issues with check out or check in and even left the lights on for our 9 PM arrival."

"The convenience of this property was paramount. Shopping of all kinds was minutes away. We did not stay during summer months, but this home is literally 5 minutes from a water slide park. The view from the dock was lovely, the house was clean, and neighborhood was quiet. The two bedrooms feel like one large bedroom without much extra space behind the beds, but it suited our needs just fine. We were return."

"This location was perfect. Close enough for a nice visit with family. Queen bed was very comfortable and we liked our linens and towels. Refrigerator was empty but not cleaned- the only real negative. We had to bring in toilet paper as house only had 1.5 rolls. Otherwise it was all very good."

"We enjoyed our stay, I wish we had been in the front unit - that unit had a wonderful full water view. This back unit is very tight, my suggestion for the owner is to remove some of the Knick knacks - the space is so tight, it was hard to move around with such big furniture and stuff. Otherwise, it was a lovely stay. "

"Quaint, clean house. Beautiful backyard that has a nice flat section for sitting and then slopes down to the lake. It was wonderful to have kayaks for afternoon jaunts on the lake after a morning of walking at the Mashpee Town Beach- which is connected to the South Cape Beach State Park. Drawbacks are 1) the property manager never got back to us with a solution to an issue. 2) the neighbor's house is very close and they have a TV on their porch which ruins a quiet evening on the renter's porch."

"The furniture was very minimal and not comfortable. The kitchen was pretty well equipped but missing things like potato peelers etc. The house is on a main road so can be very noisy. Our first encounter was that the door codes did not work. We called several numbers to get the property manager who accused us of breaking into the home. Some serious miscommunications between the local and national companies."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our recent week on the pond! My husband & I were there with our young adult children and their friends. During the week we ranged from 4 - 6 occupants & there was plenty of room for all. The home is very clean and nicely decorated. The bedrooms are large with plenty of storage space and all had ceiling fans for those warm nights. Two of the bedrooms have sliders out to the backyard with a beautiful view of the pond! "Host responded to all questions in a very timely manner. Answered all questions that were asked. The location was close to Onset Beach but you do need to drive to it. Several places in the area to eat at, close to the Bourne Bridge. Great Ice Crean shop with soft serve and homemade ice cream, great flavors, next to the candy store.. Cash only so be prepared. "We loved our weekend at Deb and John’s cottage! Everything in the house was fresh and inviting, in great condition, and absolutely immaculate (by far the cleanest house we’ve ever rented). It had comfortable and thoughtful touches throughout - we loved the big porch, the kitchen essentials, the games and movies, the soft blankets, and the fantastic location. "We enjoyed our stay at the cottage! It was perfect for my husband and I. We were also able easily host my SIL’s family of 4 for dinner. The interior is light and bright. Everything we needed was available. It was a bit chilly to fully take advantage of the outdoor space but it would be delightful during warmer weather. "This little cottage was perfect for my wife and I. We started coming to the Cape in the Fall because the Summers are too crowded for us there. This cottage was nearly perfect for our stay. It is nestled in a small loop off of the road where there are a few cottages. Not bad in October but probably more bustling in the Summer. The only thing I didn't like was that the path down to the beach is alongside of this cottage and when coming off the beach, everyone is passing the back deck. Otherwise,...
