Great Location, Quiet, Waterfront, Family Friendly



The cottage has 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, a full kitchen, a dining room, a large living room, and a deck. One bedroom has a queen bed and a set of twin bunk beds, and the other bedroom has 3 beds (a futon and twin bunkbeds).

The cottage is fully furnished and linens are provided. The Kitchen has been recently updated with Viking Appliances. The living room has recently been upgraded to a flat panel TV.

Long Lake is a small lake (59 acres) located in Sugar Camp Wisconsin (Just a few miles south of Eagle River). The lake has no 'public' access, therefore it does not have heavy fishing pressure or boat traffic like most other lakes. The lake is abundant with walleyes, panfish, perch, northern pike, and muskie. This lake is large enough to allow motor boat traffic and is also ideal for kayakers and other recreation. The shoreline is a sandy bottom, with some reeds and weeds.

Relaxing Get Away
The weather for our stay did not work in our favor as it rained and was cold the entire stay. The house was comfortable and warm allowing us to enjoy our stay even if inside. We did get quite a bit of fishing in from the dock. There is definitely a sweet spot out there which caught us fish in most casts. This made it incredibly fun for our 3yr old daughter as it was her 1st time fishing. We enjoyed our stay!

Quiet getaway
We had such a great and relaxing trip with our 2 kids. We saw so many animals, played in the water-kayaking, and row boating. The house was spacious, clean and had everything we needed during our trip. Brett was responsive answering questions before our trip. The area was so quiet and had beautiful views! We have stayed here for a few years now. Every year there are improvements to the cabin. Brett is very responsive to any issues that come up during our stay. We love the quiet surroundings the most. It is getting harder to find that in the Eagle River area.

The property is the definition of quiet. Peaceful lake with no boat traffic, at least during the week. If your heading ups there during g the summer months, take bug dope. Mosquitoes are very bad, and there was nothing available in Eagle River. Enjoyed the stay, recommend the property. Lots of room.

Perfect Wisconsin Stay
This place was very charming, warm, and welcoming. Not only was the inside great, the outdoor area was also perfect. There was enough space for us to set up a volleyball net, play badminton, have a bonfire, and be able to go kayaking with the equipment provided by the owners. My family and I had a great time!

We arrived very late. Got heater going and was comfortable Woke to a beautiful morning. Kids explored. Then went biking which was our main purpose of the trip. Biked different trails 3 days. 40 minute drive to some but well worth it. Then came fishing. On lake in row boat and kayaking. Followed by a campfire and smores. Great place. So much to do and the weather was perfect

Located on nice lake. Plenty of free kindling and firewood. Lots of hot water.
Someone needs to check on how well the cleaning lady cleans. Pine needles and dirt in bottom of freezer, kitchen wastebasket filthy, bathroom floor filthy, outside of fridge , dishwasher and microwave very dirty, burned food in oven.

Very nice cabin with all the amenities. Included a rowboat and 2 kayaks. Plenty of seasoned firewood on hand. Nice wide aluminum dock to sit on and soak up the atmosphere. A bit weedy for fishing from the dock though.

Absolutely amazing time , from the booking process to the weather. Property was well maintained. I personally would make s few changes. Like get rid of the tree in front of the back deck. Its all about the view and ya wanna see the water and that tree hampers that I think. Other than it was just great. Not to mention the back bedroom has to be the most comfortable bed I ever slept in. We rented the cottage for a quiet, stress-free and relaxing vacation and we we found this and so much more! The Lake is beautiful and quiet, the fish are abundant, the Eagle visited multiple times a day as did the Loons! We even heard a Whippoorrwill! Brett was easy to communicate with and very responsive. The cottage was clean and perfect for our week getaway. We definitely will plan another visit!!

Long Weekend Retreat
The cabin is accurately described, is very comfortable and is a few feet from a well stocked fire pit and a boat dock. Everything worked well. The owner's response to COVID is well done. The area is wonderful. We rode our mountain bikes and hiked and enjoyed a local beer outside at Tribute in Eagle River. Would love to visit again.
