Awesome retreat
Had a wonderful 3 night visit over holidays. Peaceful setting with plenty of room for humans and doggies. Close to beaches and shops without feeling crowded. Dog owners will be impressed with all the touches in the charming lodge. Immaculate clean and prepared with a full kitchen with almost everything you need (we prepared a turkey meal with no problem). Cozy hang outs on both floors. Blue Dog Lodge is second to none. Would highly recommend for any Delmarva getaway.

Amazing house for family with pets
Beautiful elegant house designed for family with dogs. Clearly the house owners love dogs and you can see that throughout the house. They were very thoughtful in their decoration and the house has a very cozy warm feeling to it. We spend very little time, but will certainly look forward to coming back.

Amazing!!
We enjoyed our stay and are already planning a return trip! It was so beautiful and well maintained. My wife kept saying how much she loved it. My children loved it too. Great location close enough to the beach. One of my favorite parts was the spacious kitchen! Hosts think of everything even keeping everyday ingredients in the cabinets.

We had an absolutely wonderful vacation! Super clean, well appointed, everything you needed and then some! Great kitchen to cook in and enjoy conversation! Safe place for the fur babies. Second visit as good as the first!
This was our second stay at the Blue Dog Lodge, and it's even better than it was two years ago, with a nice deck being added off the back of the house. The house has just about everything you could need, and it feels like we were staying in a friends house, not a rental property. We have family in the area, and they all raved about the house, and our niece's dog loved the fenced yard (and squirrels to chase/bark at). I expect we'll be back next summer as well!

Perfect Stay!
We spent the weekend at the Blue Dog Lodge and loved it. We were in town for a lacrosse tournament and after having trouble finding a decently priced room to reserve, we came across this house and decided to give it a try. I am soo glad we did! The owner had great communication so we knew what to expect before we checked in/out. The house was very clean, everything was labeled and well thought out, and it had all of the amenities we could have asked for. There was plenty of parking, and it was setup to accommodate dogs which made it nice to not have to find a pet sitter while out of town. In all, we were extremely happy with our decision and would definitely stay there again if we found ourselves back in that area.

Perfect house for us!
We were traveling through Delaware and just needed a place for a couple of nights. We had our 2 golden retrievers and I waited until the last minute to book. We really lucked out. This house was spectacular for us and the girls. Some places say “pet friendly” but then they really aren’t. This was the real deal. They thought of everything for our girls. Grace and Millie loved the fenced yard. The carpeting on the stairs was genius. We couldn’t have been more comfortable and April was so helpful.

Wonderful home to relax with your dogs
Checking in was super easy and April was great with checking in to make sure everything was ok. The communication between the property owners and guests was above and beyond what we have had before. The home was very clean and we loved the layout. It was very dog friendly our girls wore themselves out running around the fenced area. We appreciated how it was thought out to accommodate small dogs with fenced yard. Everything was a 10/10 and we will be visiting again.

The house and the property was great and had everything that was advertised online. The house was very clean and had so many necessities already there that one normally would either have to bring or go buy during their stay. The owner reached out several times to ensure everything was good—which it was- and I would highly recommend this as a vacation rental.

Amazing property
This property was perfect for our first family getaway with our toddler and dog. There was ample space for our dog to run (fenced-in) and he was so incredibly happy! Could easily drive to beaches and other local attractions. The house was nicely renovated. The host was also very communicative and easily accessible. Everyone was incredibly happy with the stay and we would definitely stay again!

BEAUTIFUL !!
Everything was perfect. The house is beautiful - super cleanand has everything. Every single person in our family said they wanted to live there full-time. I personally love the taste in decorating/furniture choices. I'm already looking online for a match to the murphy bed. Even our dog loved the yard and seemed to get a kick out of running around and around the shed outside. Close enough to all the beaches and other attractions to do perfect day trips, which is what we did. Then come back to a quiet place. My daughter LOVED the "cubby" bed upstairs and all the games, etc. that are provided. I can't say enough good things. April was super responsive to any questions and helpful with check-in/check-out. We will most definitely be back :)

This house was great! We really enjoyed our stay. The owners thought of everything! The yard and deck were wonderful. Even our dogs had a fantastic time. The front and back are fenced separately but attached so you can walk through a gate in between. I loved this setup because if we needed to open the front gate for food or grocery delivery, the dogs could still run around in the back until the front gate was closed. The house was so beautifully decorated. It was really unique and fun. We can't wait to come back. Best rental we've ever been to by far.

This house is ready for you and your dog. Great fenced backyard W/ plenty of running room. House is on a busy road not a side street, but set back from the road. Kitchen was well equipped and nice bathrooms. This rental included all linens which was great because many properties in the area do not. Still about 25 minute drive to the beaches.
