Convenient and affordable
The staff was friendly and the check-in seamless. The room was clean and we liked the wooden floor. There was no room service but they said if we needed anything to just come at the front desk. One of the two beds was uncomfortable as it was too soft. The other one was fine. The bathtub needed some extra scrubbing. The location was 15 minutes away from Bethany Beach boardwalk. All in all we had a nice stay.

It is obvious that the owner of the property has done a lot of work painting and fixing it up. It is an older establishment. There are no elevators. When we stayed it was in the middle of a heatwave and walking the 3 floors up to the room was challenging as we are in the over 60 crowd. The pool was lovely. The facility was clean. As it was so hot, we actually spent more time in the room than we would normally, and TV was not fabulous. If the weather was more comfortable the TV wouldn't have been an issue. All in all, I would stay here again. It is good for the price.

Not what I expected
The motel was very disappointing considering the reviews were high, they had bleached wash clothes in bathroom and we found a bug in our room, went to front desk and asked if they had another room but they were fully book so we left and to drive back home and I asked for a refund. They also told me that they had remodeled the rooms the bathroom hadn’t been touched the bath tub was peeling and old. And this was not a cheap motel. It left a very bad taste in my mouth.
