"Wonderful property, my wife and I don’t travel as much as we’d like to, so when we do, we like to stay at nicer properties. We did some hiking each morning, we’d stop for lunch, head back to the property, soak in the hot tub and then make dinner in this awesome kitchen. Place was super clean and kept in top shape."

"This house was absolutely wonderful. The location is like something out of a storybook. You drive by a farm to get there, and the porch has a view of the cows in the field, yet it is totally private. There are mountains around the house and we watched the clouds clear out of the redwoods as the day went by. The kids played croquet on the lawn and loved the ping pong. The house is decked out with so much wonderful furniture. There are couches and soft chairs, tables and lamp everywhere, it gives is a really comfortable homey feel. There are plenty of places to set your backpacks and hang your purse, jacket, etc. It's a really roomy house and we all felt like we had private space to rest. There is a sunroom with a super comfortable daybed that was lovely to lounge on. There are a ton of great books and games. It is right in the Redwood forest and getting to Tall Tree Grove trailhead, which we went there to hike, was convenient and a beautiful drive. The nearest grocery store is far away, so plan accordingly. We would love to stay here again and again!"

"This cabin is rustic but has all the amenities (plus some) of home. It is isolated but close to everything. It was great to explore trails and the Red Woods. Then come "home" to a comfortable cabin with warm wood stoves, soft beds, a cup of coffee/tea or a glass of wine. The hosts are great people too!"

"This is probably our favorite rental we have ever stayed in! Clean, comfortable, well stocked, and super fun style/decor. We felt right at home. Great central location and so close to everything we wanted to do! We loved everything about it!"

"This house is amazing and a real gem on VRBO. We stayed here during our Redwoods vacation. We chose the house based on its location to the Redwoods, the trails we wanted to hike, and the fact that it wasn't in a city. We arrived at night so we got a wonderful big reveal of the amazing ocean view from the big windows in the morning. The house was very clean and well stocked. It is up a single lane country road that provided some adventure. It is also close to beach access. The town of Orick has a grocery store straight out of the 90s. So much fun. There was plenty of room in the house for mom, dad, and two kids. The bathroom was nice and the shower had plenty of hot water. The kitchen was great to cook in, and it was nice to have Netflix for when we were chilling out before bed time. The only strange thing was when the trash can was near full we contacted Vacasa to ask what to do with it and were told to sit it out on the curb to be picked up Monday morning. Well, there isn't a curb and we were way up on a hill. Most VRBO properties we've stayed in have some exterior trash can to put bags once the inside trash is full. Other than that one thing, this is a perfect place to stay for a Redwoods vacation."

"We showed up and furnace was out. The owners dealt with this immediately. The house was very clean, kitchen was fully equipped and the deck view is amazing. They provided stuff for nice cozy fireplace evenings."
