"This is the third time my partner and I have chosen to stay at the Market House. We like its convenient, central location, and clean, spacious, well-appointed rooms. Staff are always friendly and efficient, our check-in and check-out experiences have been seamless each time. The only disadvantage at the moment is the fact that the lift is under repair, which did not particularly inconvenience us, but could pose an issue for guests with mobility issues. Overall a great stay for a night out in Reading, dinner and shopping."

"Perfect for my visit to Reading. Five minutes walks form the station and close to shops and local sites. Delightful friendly, helpful and courteous staff. Clean. comfortable spacious room and pleasant lounge area. Very good breakfast in bright, pleasant dinging room. The bedroom area was quiet and peaceful and I felt safe and secure in the hotel. "The room is clean, quiet and comfortable. We couple have to thank to the great service of Ollie, who had solved the problems promptly and patiently with us. It is of a very great value, with plenty of parking areas. It is very convenient to travel to city center, with choices of buses nearby. We really enjoyed our stay here. Must come again to this hotel if visiting Reading again. "

"Lovely hotel, bar, restaurant and room. Our room had a river view, was a good size with an extra large bathroom. The room and bathroom were exceptionally clean and well stocked with extra large towels and nice toiletries. There was tea, coffee bags, biscuits and bottled water all of which were replaced daily. Also a fridge. The bedding was luxurious and very comfortable for our very large bed. Really good location and lots to do within walking distance. I would highly recommend."
