It was okay
I hope the owner upgrades the furniture and other appliances in the cottages. It looks nice and cute but needs to upgrade the things inside. Overall, the area and cleanliness were good.

Absolutely Loved Our Stay
My wife and our two dogs stayed here for 5 nights and we loved it. The first impression we had was how clean the entire chalet was. It is obvious that the owners take pride in their property. The nights were cold outside but the chalet was nice and warm and there was also the option of a fireplace but we chose not to use it. The bed was comfortable and we had no issues sleeping. The patio outside is nice and big with plenty of room to barbecue and gaze at the beautiful scenery. The owner, Marie-Danielle and her husband were very gracious and kindly took the time to show my wife her horses and talk about the history of the area. There were only a few issues we had with the chalet..The most important is that there is no couch to sit on. While this may not be a major issue, after a few days we really missed sitting on a couch and really wished there was one. The second issue, there is no TV. Again, not a major issue, but after a few days I really wished there was one to watch a Netflix series. Other than these two minor issues, everything else was great and we really enjoyed our stay there.

Long weekend stay
We booked this VRBO for the long weekend as it was close to family. It was a very convenient location to visit them. The place had everything we needed for our stay and is in a beautiful, quiet location. We enjoyed our stay.

Fantastic stay away from the city
We really enjoyed our stay at this cottage just outside of Rawdon. It is nicely located in a retreated area which provides quiet and peaceful times. We get access to the lake which is nice to swim in and you can even catch fish! It is also quite close to Rawdon for groceries and whatnot. The owners were very helpful and responsive. Everything is functional and you can have nice BBQs on the awesome deck which has the sun until it goes to bed. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it.

March break getaway
We had a lovely March break in a relaxing quiet setting. We took advantage of the Nordic Spa at La Source as well as skiing at MontCalm. Marie-Danielle dug out the outdoor fire pit and brought over extra wood so we could have a campfire and roast marshmallows. We loved having the kitchen to cook all of our meals as well as eating at the dinner table with a beautiful view of the sunset.

Bel environnement, calme et paisible, loin de tout. A savoir, il n’y a pas de télévision mais un wifi fonctionnel. Il manque un espace de relaxation intérieur (pas de sofa). La cuisine est très bien équipée.

Very quiet, peaceful spot
We stayed here for 3 nights over labour day weekend and had an amazing time! Very nice place for our small family of four + our dog. The beds are SOOOO comfy and the outdoor deck was where we spent almost all our time (the view of the lake is stunning). The cottage itself is cozy, not very big but has that cottage feel which is great. We had everything we needed (stove, kettle, toaster oven, microwave, fresh towels). Note: there is no oven but they do have a BBQ. There is also no living room or tv but we spent all our time outdoors anyway. We really enjoyed the scenery and the short walk to the beach; the standup paddle board was awesome and the lake is very still and peaceful. We also enjoyed the outdoor fire pit at night and the wood was heavily stocked. One caution: if you have any mobility issues it may hard to get up and down the path to the fire pit and also, indoors into the shower. We has no issues at all but we are young and pretty agile! The host was lovely and so responsive; thank you Marie-Danielle. Check in was very easy and she shared a lot of very helpful instructions, tips, and information about our stay well in advance which was very appreciated. 10/10 would recommend this cottage! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Calm and cozy chalet
Le Scenic was very relaxing. Views of the lake and sounds of the geese and wildlife were the perfect way to disconnect from the city life. There were so many comfortable places to sit, read, nap, and snack in and around the chalet. Recommended for a calm, easy getaway!

Un endroit qui permet de s'évader
Nous étions deux avec un rottweiler, on était content de pouvoir venir avec le chien, il y a beaucoup d'espace pour pour qu'il puisse se promener. Les propriétaires sont très faciles à rejoindre s'il y a un problème, ils te proposent même des activités. C'est vraiment un coin calme,la maison est chaleureuse et coquette. On va revenir pour pouvoir profiter du bbq, faire un feu à l'extérieur et profiter du terrain . Je ne regrette pas mon choix! Le coin repas avec vu extérieur c'est génial ! Mieux que de manger devant la tv:)

We had a lovely stay! Even though the power went out because of a storm the hosts were very helpful, communicated with us to get a generator hooked up and offered to help with anything else. The big windows and cozy space were perfect for a weekend getaway. Would recommend!

Chalet qui a connu son heure de gloire dans un cadre magnifique
Le site du Scenic est magnifique, calme, reposant, les petits animaux viennent vous rendre visite (oiseaux écureuils). Terrasse, véranda, barbecue et brasero appréciés. Mais il ne faut pas s'endormir sur ses lauriers : il est grand temps de redonner du lustre à cette pépite : le mécanisme des fenêtres est souvent hors service, la moustiquaire trouée, des prises qui ne fonctionnent plus et d'inviter la propriétaire à passer seulement deux jours sur place pour découvrir ce qui ne va plus : le matelas tâché sans alèse, plus de verres ordinaires en quantité suffisante, les plats du four dans un état inacceptable, les ustensiles du barbecue qu'il a fallu brosser avant usage, les miettes dans le grille-pain, le réfrigérateur pas suffisamment nettoyé. Il manque des éléments de base pour la cuisine : pas de sucre, pas de film plastique ni papier d'aluminium, pas d'allumettes pour le brasero, de la vaisselle hétéroclyte mais au final inutile alors que les articles élémentaires ne sont pas ou plus présents. Quel dommage de gâcher une si belle expérience ! Les sites d'hébergement de locations devraient exiger et afficher la date de prise de vue des photos des annonces pour gagner en loyauté et transparence.
