About this property

Entire place

You'll have the entire home to yourself and will only share it with other guests in your party.

Grand home in very private and serene estate setting. Direct prime lake access.

Experience the look, feel and amenities of a private wilderness estate with direct access to prime waterfront on one of Maine’s premier mountain lakes.
This near-new and thoughtfully appointed custom ten room log sided home features a remote feeling location, imaginative architectural design, and a full array of upscale amenities. Knotty pine paneling on walls and ceiling and extensive lighting exudes comfort, luxury, and warmth. Expansive lawn/yard with a large stone and brick grill/fire pit; large 10-foot picnic table, archery targets, badminton, golf chipping area, corn hole area, mountain, and partial lake views. Winter sliding and tubing on sloping yard directly out the back door. Rangeley Village supermarket, shopping, services, bars, bowling alley, sport/recreation vehicle shops, and restaurants are all only two to three miles from the house. Game room in the heated garage includes seven-foot slate pool table; ping pong, air hockey; dart board, putting strip, and Tiki Toss; as well as an elliptical trainer and Total Gym exerciser. A four burner Weber gas grill is on the upper deck.
Property lies within the Rangeley wildlife reserve. Frequent wildlife sightings include deer, foxes, bald eagles, and more.
The waterfront area (this, and only this, area is shared with two other families) features 80 feet of sandy bottomed, gradually sloping shoreline on Rangeley Lake’s central northern shore that provides possibly the best swimming spot on the lake. The waterfront is a half mile coast on a bicycle, or a pleasant 10-minute walk thru a dense spruce and birch forest from the house. (A three-person Side by Side ATV is available for adult use for waterfront access for an additional $60/day or $250/week and a signed waiver).
The twin aluminum docks will each accommodate up to 22-foot boat. The shore front screen house provides retreat from sun and weather and storage for boating accessories. Three adult kayaks, a small kids’ kayak, and a two person peddle boat are available for your use with a signed waiver.
A spruce, cedar and birch forest surrounds three sides of the large and beautifully landscaped yard. The living area features a thermostat-controlled propane fireplace in a field stone hearth, stereo system, and chalet windows. The master suite features a king-sized bed, jetted tub, walk-in shower and double vanity.
Lower level has a bedroom with a queen bed; adjoining full bath w/ second laundry room; large entertainment/living room with 70" wide screen, home theater / stereo system, love seat recliner and pullout queen sleeper couch; and glass sliders to lower deck area. Six-person hot tub with accent lighting and waterfall feature on lower deck operates year-round. Huge wrap-around deck with unique re bar railing posts that preserve the view.
Propane whole house back-up generator ensures reliable electricity in even the most severe mountain weather. Easy snowmobile trail access via the lake when fully frozen over (check with local authorities for lake conditions). Approximately ten miles to Saddleback and forty minutes to Sugarloaf USA ski resort. Mingo Springs 18-hole public golf course is less than a mile away.
Ten minutes to the famous Kennebago and Rangeley trout and salmon rivers.

Family & Friends Weekend in Rangeley
Wonderful, large property with ample entertainment options for every member of our small group of family and friends. We enjoyed the pool table, ping pong, air hockey, hot tub, and just relaxing on the porch with beautiful views of the lake and mountains. It was a perfect place for us to gather and enjoy time together. Thank you!

Wonderful mountain getaway
Great property with great amenities - this was our second time staying here, and we love it. It’s a nice, quiet spot, but still close to some great skiing, the town of Rangeley, and has plenty to do on those low-key rainy days - a full games room, great hot tub, wonderful oft with a gas fireplace, and a beautiful deck to enjoy the view of the lake and mountains. The owners are also great - they were happy to adjust our dates due to a winter storm. Definitely recommend for any family looking for a quiet getaway!

Perfect location to Rangeley Lake and snowmobile trails
We enjoyed our stay in your beautiful well appointed home. We especially appreciated the heated floors in the entryway, perfect after a day of snowmobiling. The proximity to the snowmobile trail was perfect. Rangeley is a beautiful area and we hope to come back in the warmer months to check out some hiking and mountain biking. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Rented this home for a family wedding for 3 nights. House was very clean and has everything you need. The layout is perfect for separation/privacy yet has lots of comfy places for everyone to hang out together as well as cozy nooks to read a book. Our dog Bubba, a large Newfie, loved swimming in the lake where the setting is peaceful and serene with epic views

Disappointment in Rangeley
The pictures don't accurate depict the condition of the home. It's a beautiful house but is in desperate need of TLC inside and out. I had a young child with me and there were safety hazards that address or mentioned to me. If they have someone who cleans and/or does general up keep, they should find someone knew. The cleanliness of the kitchen left a lot to be desired. I found a mouth retainer in a cabinet as an example. The hot tub wasn't clean either. There was some sort of blackness on the headrests. The water didn't look clean. There were bugs and debris in it when first opened. We felt like they weren't prepared for our arrival. The gentleman who was there when we arrived said they were going up on the nightly rate. I can tell you it wasn't worth it at the rate I paid. BEWARE.

Amazing Property!
We vacationed at this property and it is amazing! The house was well put together and was large enough for our group to have space of our own and gather together. The mattresses are a little tough and make sure you bring some extra toilet paper or paper towels with you! But it is completely awesome, the lake front is gorgeous. Highly recommend staying here.

Spacious house, great location!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house is very spacious (6 adults, 1 child and we all had our own area). The location is beautiful and the proximity to the surrounding towns made our adventure that much better. The view of the lake from the house wasn’t as good as shown in the photos and it was a bit of a hike down to the water (definitely rent the UTV or bring your own - we did both) but it did not hinder our time there at all. We had one issue with the Wi-Fi and it took the owner a day to get back to us but in that time we figured out the problem (the outlet is on a switch that had been turned off) and honestly, it was no big deal. We have talked about coming back to enjoy the fall and winter seasons here and would definitely recommend the house to others!

Beautiful home in need of some TLC
This is a beautiful home! There were 6 adults, all 55 and up. We chose this place for location and having 3 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms. Unfortunately, due to humid, damp weather, the large family room and bedroom downstairs, were unable to be used by our group. It was extremely damp and musty. Between allergies and one with asthma, we were unable to be down there. We did commmunicate with the host, but no solution was implemented. There was one very small dehumidifier, behjnd a closed door, that was not sble to keep up with the size of the area. We had to utilize the loft area as the 3rd bedroom. The kitchen area is lovely. Many of the pans could use to be replaced. Everything stuck, including bacon. The game room is great!! Made for a lot of fun on one rainy day! We enjoyed morning coffee on the huge deck, watching for wildlife. Daily we saw several deer. Our last night there we saw 4 bucks! We were glad we paid extra for use of the ATV as it is a bit of a walk to the water. We enjoyed 2 days of swimming and relaxing on the docks. Due to all the recent rain, the grassy area is very wet. In the screen house, there are several noodles and other floats. We were glad we all brought extra toilet paper and paper towels as there was very little provided. The lobster pot provided does not have a lid, or at least it was nowhere to be found. It also isn't a real big pot, so if you plan to cook your own lobsters you may wish to bring your own pot.

This house is amazing !!!! So much room for all to spread out , games to play, outdoor activities for everyone. We were a little disappointed that the dock wasn’t ready , but we improvised for fishing ! I did message the owner directly one some basic housekeeping opportunities and he was grateful for the feed back. We saw 13 moose on our stay in Rangley and had deer come down in the morning and evenings in the back yard. Nothing was better than having morning coffee on the porch with family !!!! Will definitely stay again !!!!

Beautiful vacation property with everything
We spent a long winter weekend here with two other couples, children aged newborn to 16, and our dog. The home provided plenty of spaces for congregating in large and small groups, and the game room and hot tub were amazing pluses. There was plenty of property in the yard for the dog to roam. We were minutes to town and 20 minutes to Saddleback where we skied every day, followed by communal meals in the big living room and a relaxing hot tub with the snow falling. The owner was super communicative, helped us with a small issue with the power on the hot tub, and encouraged us to make lots of tracks on the mountain, which we did. I can only imagine how amazing this home would be in the summer with its proximity to the lake and beautiful, private surroundings and grounds.

Beautiful home and location
My family stayed in this beautiful home for 4 days/3 nights in February 2023. Our stay was very comfortable and the house amenities really increased our enjoyment. The game room was a huge hit and my family gathered in it in the evenings for fun games of pool, darts, ping pong, and air hockey. There were also many board games in the different living rooms to be played as well. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking items. Everyone found their beds comfortable and there was tons of space to spread out when we all needed a little break. The house is a short drive to Saddleback Mountain and even had views of the mountain from the master bedroom. Kim was extremely responsive when we did have a question. We would absolutely rent this wonderful home for our ski trip again!
