"I liked my king bed corner room. It looked and felt luxurious. I liked also the glamorous bathroom with separate shower and huge tub. The extra area between bedroom and bathroom served both as a kitchen area (microwave,coffee,fridge) and dressing room with vanity. I chose the room to look at the hills, and I could see across the field to the ocean. there was a fireplace with seating..the room felt huge. "Our stay was great. The location is awesome and there are plenty of hikes and beaches to explore a short drive or bike ride from the grounds. Businesses out there in Big Sur have been in for a ride with all those Hwy 1 closures and the little issues they have stem from that - uncontrollable situation; They still do a good job. If you are snack addicts, go to the small convenience store by the gas station and be prepared to spend a lot of money. Top #3 key lime pie I have ever had is located...

"Loved the views, sound of the ocean, location and convenience. It was very comfortable and nice furnishings. They need a new sliding door to the patio (very hard to open) and there were mice scratching in the front bedroom at night😳. The toilet was was not secure to the floor in the front bathroom. Other than that, it was a nice stay."

"The house and location are great for family gatherings or large groups. The indoor and outdoor areas are very spacious with ample room to gather or find solace. The kitchen was fully stocked with a large dining table for communal eating. The view from the balcony was stunning! The boat dock is a 5-minute walk down the hill, but the water didn't look swim-worthy. If you're looking to get away from people and urban living, this is a wonderful refuge. Be prepared to drive about an hour inland...

Perfect spot for our anniversary trip
"We got the King ocean front room and had our own balcony. The room must have been recently updated as it was tastefully yet simply decorated. Everything was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. The free breakfast was our choice of a “wrap” which was basically a hearty breakfast burrito, freshly made and brought to our door at the time we had requested. They provided orange juice with it. Coffee maker in the room was a Keurig, with pods provided. The most special thing for us was having that private balcony, overlooking Moonstone Beach. One of our favorite places to visit, and this was absolutely our favorite hotel on Moonstone Beach so far. "
