The owners have gone out of their way to provide the most comfortable bedrooms and fully equipped kitchen. There was autumn decor, new fleece blankets for snuggling, and 3 big TVs. Just a few hundred feet from a huge, clean beach, we also enjoyed the Racine Zoo, giant playground, board games, nearby haunted houses, and local eats. "We had an excellent stay at this beautiful historic home in Racine. The house was immaculate, and the decorations and antiques were a beautiful touch. Our host was very kind and flexible with check in, and even left us a Racine kringle for our stay. We will absolutely be booking again the next time we need a place to stay with space for all of our friends/family! Thanks again."

"We stayed at Mike's beachfront house in April for a writing retreat and loved the location! We particularly appreciated the enclosed porch, the view of the lake, and the spacious living and dining room. There was more than enough room for the 5 of us, and we also enjoyed being able to walk down to the lake. We're already planning on coming back for our fall retreat!"

"This was a great house! The beds were really comfy. The owners had lots of games stocked and great beach chairs and beach toys. The coffee pot, blender, pitchers and storage containers were much appreciated. The house was well stocked with dishes, silverware and glasses. "Great downtown and Lakeside location. Wasn't able to take advantage of that as I flew in from West Coast for a wedding at the Murray Mansion, and this hotel was perfectly situated, such that I landed at MKE at 2 pm, checked into hotel at 3:20 and got to the 4:30 pm ceremony on time! Room was spacious, bed very comfortable and no street noise."
