"Loved this place. We stayed a couple of nights in a two bedroom unit. Amenities were outstanding, kitchen/cooking facilities, washer/dryer. It was very cozy and spacious. Nice outdoor area. Only dealt with one staff member and she was lovely. Definitely highly recommended and would stay again. 5/5."

"I could put up photos of the amazing view of Glenorchy and the surrounds but chances are that you've already seen them and are now looking for a place to stay. The Lake House is comfortable and situated very close to the lake. This is both a good thing and a bad thing. Good because it's close to walk and get a better view down the lake or up towards the mountains where sections of LoTR was filmed. "We were so happy with the location, views, walk to restaurants. Facilities were great, friendly staff. Laundry available. Very tight parking spaces and condensation issues in the bathroom were the only downers. "

"Great hotel, close to the lake as well as to the town center. The rooms are spacious and well-furnished. The bathroom was also tastefully decorated. The staff was very friendly. We had an excellent experience at the hotel. We found the hotel a bit "pricey" but worth the money."

"Great to be able to arrange an early check-in as we needed to be at the Earnslaw wharf for a Walter Peak cruise. Water taxi transport option was cheap and quick. Room was basic but functional. A bit more care with cleaning could be taken. Overall very enjoyable"

"Awesome stay! Our flight landed in the morning, we asked to drop our bags off at 11 and they already had our room resdy for a early check in. The room was nice and warm when we got in. Loved our stay and would definitely go back again. The fireplace was a deal breaker ! "
