The only thing we didn't like was our room,it was absolutely roasting even with the heating off and a fan on.
We also had to sleep with no covers on it was so warm.
Otherwise we have no complaints,the weekend was brilliant and hotel not far from metro station (west jesmond)

I didn’t like the fact that the shower and wash basin were in the room and only the wc was separate. The music in the evening in the bar area was too loud but the guy refused to turn it down slightly despite a polite request and the fact that our group was the only one there and we couldn’t hear above the noise. My keycard didn’t work and I couldn’t get into my room at the end of the evening.

Reception was nice, but very badly situated.
Very limited free parking spaces. Rooms are very dated. Room was only accessible via stairs.
Tea & coffee making facilities - spoons were dirty. Lack of toilet roll in room. Stairwell hand rail was sticky and dirty.
Breakfast was lovely. But again cutlery was dirty, tea stains on teaspoon. Used packets of sugar left on the table.
Bar staff were good. Not enough staff in breakfast restaurant.

Fab little apartment. Really clean and ideal for a 3 night stay while my daughter was having surgery in the RVI - ideal location too.
Really friendly staff too.

"Stayed overnight for a concert in Sunderland, hotel was full for the night so busy but all the staff were very friendly.
