“We enjoyed our stay. Very clean, quiet, lots of songbirds and squirrels. It was stocked with movies, coffee and tea bags, a few sodas, and brownies. WiFi was great. We got to play games with my 85 year old mom in the kitchen. We went the wrong direction (my fault), but Anita’s directions were easy from I-77. We look forward to our next visit!”

“I like it. I would book again but in warmer weather for me. I enjoy the scenry, the openness and the quietness. One suggestion, maybe i overlooked it but state that cell phone connectivity is low due to area. If you have a wifi code you should include it in welcome letter as when you get there the service is very low to non existing.”

“This location was perfect for our weekend trip to New River Gorge. The house had everything we needed and we loved the big screened in porch and river view. Definitely recommend going less than 10 mins up the road to the Sandstone Falls Boardwalk.”

“I never do reviews, but was so impressed I am sharing. The property was exactly as pictured and described. Had booked a year in advance for my daughter’s graduation. It was a great place for a family gathering. We took advantage of kayaks, cornhole, and pool table. Everything was clean, grass mowed, and fire pit ready to go. “The cadin was what I expected. True to the pictures. It was very clean. I chose this place to get closer to God and that was what i got. My only suggestion to the property's owners is that the screening around the porch be fixed. It let in some yellow jackets and a couple got in the house. Would not be good if somebody staying there got stung and was allergic to them. Overall, I would go back.”

“Mr. Hunter's cottage is a lovely cottage from a by-gone era. Located in the mountains of Giles county, VA, this cottage is comfortable with 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. The cottage is furnished with pieces that could have been there when it was built. The cottage has a beautiful porch, a great place for morning coffee. There is a very nice restaurant just steps from the cottage. I advise having at least one meal there, make sure you have reservations, as it can get quite busy. The restaurant was……

“The cabin was in a beautiful location and was beautiful. Super clean. Very impressed with the items provided including bed linens, generous supply of towels/washcloths, kitchen items. The huge walk in shower was great. We loved playing each other on the PacMan game system. Nice fire pit and outside patio. Plenty of space all around. The only complaint from our stay is the wifi or lack of. The WiFi would not connect to any of our devices including the smart TVs in the cabin and when it did the……

“We stayed there over the Bridge Celebration weekend after not being able to find a reasonable priced hotel room. It was as expected, tent camping, and had the place to ourselves. Great large camping area, not far from anything! Communication was great, just a good place to stay!”
