“This was the perfect location for hosting a bachelorette party. Close to town but still semi-included. Host was great and notified us once the place was ready prior to check-in time and also allowed us to keep our car at the home a few hours after check out. The home is very spacious and receives beautiful natural lighting during the day. Deck was great, kitchen was stocked, and furniture was comfortable. “My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cottage. It was well-equipped and conveniently located a short walk from the lake, downtown, and Hoover Auditorium. The air conditioning worked great on hot and humid days and on more pleasant days we especially enjoyed relaxing on the front porch. We would definitely stay there again.”

Although on the small side, it was sooo nice to come back to after a long day at the ball park. The only concern was a lack of wifi/cable. The owner does have a large supply of dvd’s to watch however. We will be back!”

“The property is absolutely beautiful and very clean. My family enjoyed the pool & the clubhouse filled with many games. Great customer service by Pam! I love how peaceful & quiet the area is. Everyone had a wonderful time in the cottage! There were lots of blankets, towels, supplies, and the beds are very comfortable. The view of Cedar Point is stunning and the sunsets were just as beautiful. We will definitely return! Great location & only minutes from the thrill rides! Can’t thank you enough……

“We came out for a baseball tournament in Castalia. This Cozy Cottage was 4.5 miles from the field. It is very close to the lake, it is clean and cozy. The owners have it stocked with about everything you need, which means, I didnt have to run to the store for necessities. We would definitely stay again.”

“Our family had so much fun at this location for the 2024 Eclipse. Sandusky had much to offer and the place right on the water was filled with nature. The clubhouse was clean and a great place to hang out. My children said the community bathrooms were the nicest they'd ever seen! Everyone was so friendly and kind. We'd definitely return to this place if in the area.”

“We stayed here last year, location was decent and the house is roomy and like the fact that there are many beds. The kitchen sink drained very slowly on the right (garbage disposal side) it also backed up when we ran the dishwasher then went down. The dishwasher did not seem to wash the dishes very well. Also it seemed like something was leaking down below, a couple of things were wet but not real bad. The TV remote was no where to be found, used the one from the upstairs which turned on two……

“My husband and I along with our two boys ages 7 & 4, absolutely LOVED this place! Boys are already asking to go back! We were just close enough to all the activities we wanted to do. Also right across from us is a nice view of the lake. The house is well kept and very clean. The sunroom was our favorite room in the house it has a pinball machine radio mini fridge games and lots of toys for the kids. Great communication with the host as well and we loved Bootsy the neighbors cat! Great quiet……

“I am a very clean and picky person. I bring lysol wipes with me everywhere I go and rewash dishes. But, this was one CLEAN house. Blew my expectations out of the water in many ways. My one and only complaint was dust in the vents but that is only due to an allergy. This house is absolutely adorable and in the perfect location. The beds were comfortable and clean, the patio out back lived up to the pictures, the living room area was very homey, and more. This was such a great stay and if I’m in……
