"Great place close to interstate but quiet and a huge fenced in yard. If you have pets this is a gem. I will agree with another review it is a little tight getting our large pickup in the driveway entrance but it works. We will stay again when we are in the area."

"The house is very nice and was perfect for our family stay. We stayed in the house for our trip to ride SXS’s on the Hatfield McCoy trails. The house had plenty of rooms and bathrooms for our family. The kitchen and living room were great areas too. The house was very clean. The pressure washer and outside seating areas are nice features of the house. The only downside to our stay was the train tracks, we got used to the trains after the first day."

"Unfortunately we didn’t get to stay as planned due to being exposed and testing positive for Covid. Our host was understanding and very helpful, even offering different dates for a future stay. However, due to end of year work obligations we were unable to make plans. Genuinely nice, honest host that went out of her way to accommodate. I would definitely recommend them to anyone."

"Three stars is being nice, this place isn’t bad by no means but the pictures are definitely professional. The bottom floor smells like someone left a grumpy for a few months. The trailer situation is quite ridiculous, as it states a 24’ trailer will fit on the property, this is true but not without messing your trailer up. We scraped every corner trying to get our brand new trailer in place, ended up having to leave it off site as it would not fit without damaging our trailer. You need to update...

"Our riding club greatly enjoyed our visit to Hills and Thrills. The property is located directly on a portion of the Head of the Dragon motorcycle ride. It was more than large enough to accommodate our group, clean and well equipped. The owners were very gracious, quick to respond to us when we had any issues. I would recommend Hills and Thrills to anyone who is looking for a great location for on and off road rides. Thanks to Mike, Kathy, and the whole crew at Hills and Thrills!"

"This is a great house to rent if you are looking to ride the Spearhead Pocahontas trail or the Pocahontas Hatfield-McCoy trail. The Spearhead trail is right across the road and the Pocahontas HM connector is about a 10-15 min ride away on pavement. The home itself was very clean & roomy and had everything we needed. "This is a cute house with a lot of potential to be much nicer! When the sun porch and basement are finished, that will definitely add needed space, but overall, it was fine for us. It is an older house so there were no screens in the windows, and we wanted to keep the windows open, even throughout the chilly nights, because there is a musty smell in the house. "It's a nice townhome unit,recently updated with plenty of parking. The interior is light and comfortable. The 3 bedrooms upstairs were enough for our family of 8, and we did not have to use a small bedroom by the kitchen. Convienient location as the trail entrance was about 7mins drive. Definitely recommend."
