“I intentionally booked the Junior Suite according to the website photo for that particular room but the staff had put me in another room. It was quite clear from their reply that they gave the room to someone else, so upgraded me to a modern room. Disappointing as I wanted the character of the old style room but that said, the room we were given was spacious and comfortable. Considering the price / value for money, I will not be staying here again ”

“Thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. I stayed in the Mansion House which had a lovely rustic feel but was also very clean and modern. The whole site had a lovely feel and the other building with the pool etc looked very modern and also had some nice cosy seating areas. We didn't use any facilities but had a look around and everything looked brand new! Would love to stay here again. ”

“Lovely quiet setting. Relaxing and comfortable. Good shower. Decor a bit dated but it is a historic and unique property which is nice. Golf on the site. Hairdresser and spa treatments. Great theatre nearby. Walking trails including up to 15th century Castle ruins. ”

“入住時有驚喜，因原本是訂3人房間，價錢也不貴，取房時竟然是獨立地下套房，有3間大睡房，1間大廚房，1間廁所，重可以自由泊車，雖然是住地下，但極少人流，私隱度絕無問題，一個很好的旅程，唯獨是極體清潔一般，但是可接受的。”

“Travelling for work I booked a single room for less than the local Travelodge. The grounds and main hotel are lovely and it was a delight to see the deer, ducks and other wildlife on the grounds. The room itself was away from the main building but was recently decorated, clean and welcoming. The tea and coffee was plentiful and there were even mini toiletries which many places dont have anymore. The only negative was that the bed was too soft for me Overall great value and a nice change from……

“The George Hotel was a great place to stay for my son's wedding at Fison Barn, Little Whittenham. We stayed for two nights and wished that we had booked for longer. The staff was excellent, the food was fantastic, and the rooms were characterful. My mother stayed in the accessible room and enjoyed the facilities easily. We hope to get back to you soon. ”
