"The family and Michael were all amazingly accommodating and very friendly. The place was spacious and the air conditioner worked amazingly well. Your backyard is literally an animal sanctuary with fantastic tours you can join in on. It is a very private cabin and away from the hustle and bustle, yet still close to the city. "Chachagua hotel was beautiful and spacious. The rooms were way more than expected. Hospitality was wonderful also. We arrived early and were allowed to check-in. There is an area behind the hotel that you can walk & enjoy the view and/or pick coconuts."

"Overall we loved staying here. There was just enough room for our group of 10 (7 adults and 3 kids aged 4-17). The views of the lake and the volcano are absolutely breathtaking, and the house is situated on a beautiful property surrounded by jungle, so we saw lots of birds right off the porch. The pool and hot tub were amazing, and entertained the kids for hours, all with a spectacular backdrop. The house and grounds were in good shape, clean, and well cared for. "We had a lovely stay in this house just outside La Fortuna. We had delicious meals and highly recommend having breakfast and dinner at the house. It was amazing to see Flash the sloth hanging out in the garden. The house has a great location near activities but gives an authentic feel. Pura vida!"

"Location was far from the city center but not far enough to where it was inconvenient. It was placated on a quiet street and the neighbors were some friendly farm animals. I would stay here over and over again!!!"

It was easy to get to and we felt extremely safe (especially because the property is almost hidden in plain sight as it’s enclosed by palm trees). The house was perfect, we enjoyed our time hanging out by the pool, cooked fun meals, and relaxed to watch Netflix at the end of the day on the couches. "The place was super clean, the view was spectacular. We had everything that we needed for our 3-day stay. Walking distance to restaurants, bars, and a small supermarket.
