Amazing Rental
We stayed here while skiing at Nubs Nob. The house is so beautiful, so spacious, and so comfortable. We had so many of us, but you could never tell because there’s so much room. James was so accommodating and very easy to get a hold of. When we return to the area will definitely book again. Highly recommend.

Beautiful cabin
We stayed at this property with four other couples. It was clean and beautiful. The property had everything that we needed to make our stay comfortable. James was very easy to work with and made sure that our stay was perfect. The property had plenty of room for all of us to be comfortable while we stayed. Would definitely stay again!!

Great house for large groups
We were a multi-generational group with two different families and 12 folks in total (6 adults, 6 kids). The house easily accommodated all of us with plenty of space to hang out, and we didn't even maximize the whole property! The kids loved the apple tree out front, the big pine tree for climbing, and the jacuzzi tub in the master suite. Grownups rotated between the main living room, kitchen bar area, and the deck, with plenty of other lounging areas. It was on a bigger road so sometimes big trucks would come flying threw, but it was set back enough that it wasn't too big of a deal. All-in-all, it was great for our needs.

Beautiful cabin and great for a family Reunion
We had our annual reunion here with three families, ages ranging from 65 - 2 years old and a dog. Place was great for everyone and enough kitchen and bathroom amenities. We spent a night outside around the fire making s'mores and laid in the grass star gazing. During the day we spent time at nearby Pelosky, Harbor Springs, and Mackinac Island.

Comfortable Michigan stay
We enjoyed our time at the cabin. Plenty of room for everyone and a close drive to different places we have always enjoyed in our past vacations to Michigan. We were happy with our accommodation choice for our getaway.

beautiful house, quiet and secluded property
The house itself was gorgeous. Very spacious. Felt like having your own private ski lodge. Only about a 20 minute drive to Petosksy, Mackinac City, and Harbor Springs. There is a small grocery store and butcher shop half a mile down the road. The sunset over the farm across the street was beautiful. The grounds were not well kept. A very loud, whole house, security/smoke alarm went off spontaneously for about 20 minutes in the middle of the afternoon, and they had no idea what to do about it. It stopped on its own, and the answer was to just hope it doesnt happen again. That was a little disconcerting. However, the property manager was very attentive, and friendly. No hard feelings. The air conditioning worked really well. Super hot days and the inside was cold. The beds and pillows were not very comfortable. Check in was at 5:00 pm, which is pretty late, and they were actually cleaning until then so there was no way to get in the house early.

Awesome house
This place was perfect for our family ski trip to Boyne Highlands. It was even more beautiful and impressive than the pictures. Very spacious and clean. Only 10 minutes from the slopes. Owner was very responsive to our texts. I highly recommend this place!

Beautiful home
Great place for a large group. Home looks just like the pictures. Very clean and well stocked. We had a group of 10 people and we have plenty of room for everyone. Owner so easy to get a hold of and answers any questions promptly. Highly recommend

Awesome place!
My friends and I loved staying here for our ski trip to Boyne Highlands. The place was very clean and so spacious for all of us. The heated floors were an added bonus after a cold long day of skiing too! We definitely want to come back next year!:)

Beautiful property - will visit again
We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful property. It was the perfect size for our group of 3 families and conveniently located 10 minutes from Nub’s Nob. Lower level was equipped with plenty of things to keep the kids entertained such as board games, movies and foosball table. The kitchen could have been a tad more equipped - we couldn’t find any spoons (there were only teaspoons), larger cutting board, better pans. But this didn’t hinder us from being able to cook up and enjoy a good meal around a good sized dining table. Some extra blankets would be nice too as some felt a little cold at nights but couldn’t find any extra blankets.

A Beautiful Experience
This is the most amazing place! As soon as you walk in, you see that it looks exactly like the photos but every room feels so much bigger. That living room with the soaring logs and windows is so beautiful - the sunsets and gas log fireplace make it even better. Thank you to the owners for having the fire ring all set up with wood and a Fire Kit box of supplies for us. Great kitchen to cook in and hang out at the island and large bar height counter with bar chairs. Loved having a really nice washer and dryer to use to cut down on clothes we needed to pack. So close to Mackinac City and the island, a nice little drive away from Walloon Lake and we were lucky enough to be able to see the Northern Lights from the front deck one night. I can't recommend White Pine Lodge highly enough!

A Wonderful Family Reunion
Every year, my wife's siblings, spouses and a few others meet somewhere for a week or so of spending time together and seeing a new part of the country (or world). We chose northern Michigan because this was new territory for all of us. The results met or exceeded all of our expectations, both the house and area. I highly recommend the area and this property. The only very minor issue we had was somewhat slow internet speed at times. However, that was a minimal issue and in no way adversely impacted our overall stay. James was quick to respond to any texts we sent and a pleasure from which to rent his home

Had an amazing time. Visited area winery’s, enjoyed a wonderful morning horseback ride at a nearby stable, and spent an afternoon on amazing Torch Lk which is only an 1hr. Drive from the house. As far as house itself is concerned, I can’t think of a better place to stay if it was to rain or you didnt have any plans because the house has everything!!!

Beautiful rustic home
We stayed in June in this beautiful home. It was off the beaten path but not too far from Harbor Beach, Petoskey, Mackinac and Cross Village. Communication with the owner was great. He was very responsive and accommodating. The wall of windows looks out on a field of wildlife and was a perfect viewing area for a morning storm. We had a wonderful time and would definitely stay again.

Awesome holiday!
This property was built for the purpose renting out to others and providing a comfortable place where a family can be together and enjoy each other, the amenities, and the beautiful areas of Northern Michigan. We particularly enjoyed Mackinaw Island and Mackinaw City. We ended the weekend playing games around the huge pine table laughing and having fun. It is important for families to have these fellowship experiences. We would go again. Absolutely!

This house is beautiful! It was perfect for our family skiing at Boyne highlands. There is tons of room even with a large family we had plenty of space to spread out. The Lodge was awesome
Our stay at the Lodge was truly wonderful! The home was very clean, well stocked and organized. Nice and spacious! Plenty of room for our family of eight. The grandkids as well as the adults had a great time. We enjoyed being inside as well as spending time outside too. Enjoyed having bonfires and relaxing on the huge decks overlooking the nice quiet and serene property. This property and location is a great place to unplug and relax. The property manager is excellent in communication and responding to any inquiries we had. Very gracious and accommodating for our group. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay. Dream house
We wanted a place close enough to activities, but far enough away for a peaceful time. This house was perfect. Beautiful views, more beautiful house and wonderful host. We had an amazing time. Went to the island, the city and Petoskey. The house was big enough to let everyone have their own space and the rooms were big enough to get everyone together for a lot of quality time. Would rent it again.

The house is very nice. It is in a very quiet area. Be advised floors are all wood so can be slippery. Views are of nature. We only rented for three days but it feels more like two because check in is 5pm and check out is 11am. If you want to get away from the world this is where you go..

It is a good experience. Very clean. Nice House. I would say the only thing could be improved is the room temperature. The loft is a little bit hot, and the lower level is very cold. Providing extra blankets could be helpful also.

The house was everything that was advertised, but even better in person. You think the pictures are impressive? Wait till you walk through the door! Not one complaint from anyone in our 12 person party. The property was clean and communications via text with the property manager were a breeze. If ever back in the area again with a large group, I’m not even considering any other places. This is where I’m staying. You won’t be disappointed!

Great place for a large group, good availability of parking for bikes. Only suggestion I’d offer is to at least supply staples like salt/pepper, and sugar/sweetener. Traveling on bikes gives limited space for groceries. Jacuzzi tub didn’t work nor the fireplaces. Got a little chilly at night and guests can’t adjust temp accordingly. Plenty of pots/pans/dishes and beds were comfortable. Would come back for sure!!
