"We stayed in Treetops at the Abri Apartments for five nights towards the end of a six week trip to NZ and it was ideal. Set back from the main drag with views out across the water to Russell and an apartment with just about everything you could want set in lovely gardens. Helen was a great host and our stay was really relaxed. If you’re going to Paihia (and it makes a great base for the Bay of Islands) then book this early and enjoy the time there even more. "

The only note I have is that it’s not super clear which front entrance is which (the home is split in to 2 rentals), so we almost walked in to the wrong home. The kitchen was well appointed, the bed was super comfortable, and the bathroom was updated. Robert was responsive to all our questions and most accommodating. "The photos don't do this gem full justice. Views from three balconies. Clean and well equipped kitchen and home. Ambient lighting was a treat compared to many others we have stayed at. Driveway took a little skill to maneuver, but we enjoyed the two car garage. We would highly recommend this home and hope to visit again."
