Best option for oceanfront hotel! I’ve been coming to OC for 10 years but this is my first time at doubletree and may I say- outstanding! Pat was incredible at the front desk! Spacious, clean rooms, walkable to beach, 3 pools and a hot tub all great. Def coming back again!

At check in I was asked to give my credit card number for $50.00 for incidentals. That wasn't disclosed when booking. At check out I questioned what will happen to my $50.00 and was told it would be returned in 3-5 days. I will not do that again!

The Doubletree Hotel is an excellent choice. The property was clean, the room was clean, and the workers were very hospitable. There is a great restaurant within the hotel with excellent food. I will return.

Another great stay with the staff at Double Tree. They honored my request for a room on an upper level although my guaranteed check-in at 4 PM did not happen because my room wasn't cleaned yet from the prior guests. The front desk was very gracious about it and it didn't damper our stay.

The only thing I didnt like about our stay was the parking garage. If you have a larger vehicle, it can be difficult to navigate, as the turns are very narrow. Other than that, everything else was stellar. I would definitely stay here again!!

Clean & convenient
Check-in was easy, and the gentleman at the front desk was helpful, answering our questions. The hotel is nice, in a convenient location, with an indoor pool. The only negative was as soon as we went into the room we were greeted by a rather large refrigerator, which protruded into the narrow entryway. However, our stay overall was very nice, and we would definitely stay there again.

Overall, the hotel was nice. My only complaint was the indoor pool. The area around the pool was dirty and needed to be clean. It was a busy weekend but the main reason we booked was for the pool.

I was very disappointed with our stay. We have been there before. The manager was very disorganized. We had bought breakfast vouchers. When we got there he said to the other staff that he didn't know what to do with the vouchers because the restaurant was going to close for a week. He left us to run upstairs. When he came down i was irritate because he didn't know what was going on. They knew about the closer for weeks, sometimes should have been in place.

Yesterday we were sitting by the pool when a gang of tresspasers came in and got into the pool area and stripped down to their underwear. Management did nothing in fact they defended the thugs. they werent staying in the hotel at all. At no point was the police called.

Hotel great, breakfast wait time was not
The hotel and room were great. Front desk staff very friendly and helpful. I and other guests found the hot tub too hot and the jets turned up too hard to be able to sit in front of them. Biggest downside was I prepaid for the breakfast each morning and it took FOREVER two out of three mornings. The first morning it took at least 30 minutes to get our drinks. The third morning I stood at the reception desk a good 10 minutes before getting seated. If I hadn't prepaid for breakfast, we would have left.

All and all great stay!
The stay was excellent. Nice and quiet, with an excellent few of the Ocean. The customer service was also great, in most cases. My only complaint was housekeeping services were not all that great. Could have had better services. We had to remove trash from the kitchen several days, because when housekeeping did show up they would not do a complete clean up job.
