First, the parking is scarce if you can’t get a park in the small parking lot, you have to park across the street. Our king size room was supposed to have a queen size sofa but that wasn’t there. They missed quoted the prices when I got there it was higher than I expected, and what I was told on the phone. The front desk person was very uninviting. She was not helpful at all. All experience was misleading

Check in was horrible over an hour wait with a lobby full of people not happy. No water in room . No extra blanket or pillows . Carpet dirty in room. No mirror outside bathroom . Been going to clarion for years . Will never go back to the Ashore . Food awful. For a “resort “ you should be able to make. Run runner but no black berry brandy . No music liked stated ……. Never again will we stay here

I liked that everything I needed for a short beach trip was on site. The staff was exceptional. My room was never visited by housekeeping although I stayed for 3 nights. My bedclothes smelled like a dog had been there recently. What may keep me from returning was that the guests in the room above mine had a dog that ran around their room all night during the last night of my stay. It started at 10:30 p.m and did not stop until 6:30 am. I wish I had returned home a day early.

I arrived early and I just wanted to check and see what time was good. They immediately checked me into my room. The service was great. The outdoor restaurant/bar atmosphere with live music was awesome and the food was pretty good.
