"Loved our stay! My husband and I came here after planning our wedding and ending his school semester. Such a fantastic place to enjoy doing NOTHING but also so much! We hiked, kayaked, hot tubbed and enjoyed the fire pit at night over looking the water. So peaceful and we will definitely be back!"

"I booked this last minute with only a couple days notice and I am glad I did. What a great little cabin. It is very rustic and very homely. I was told service was not great but I had ZERO service and I loved it. No messing with technology just enjoying our days sitting by the forest. Me and my lady sat by the fire pit every night and we grilled meats as well. Hope has the cabin very clean and stocked with everything you may need. We will definitely be booking again in the future!!"

"My boyfriend and I were looking for a weekend getaway with our two German Shepherds. We found this beautiful log home!! It was beautifully decorated and it has an amazing dog friendly yard! Our puppies were free to play in the yard and explore while being completely secure. We would highly recommend and would love to stay again! The owner was very easy to contact and communicate with. 10/10 for sure! Very convenient to a lot of trails/forest for hiking if the heat cooperates!"

It’s remote so we brought food to cook and had no trouble finding pots, pans, skillets and utensils we needed. The kitchen is well stocked and the fridge kept my beer good and cold. "Perfect little waterfront cabin. Clean and perfect location for a weekend on the lake. Beautiful view of little Lake Kerr out the front window and screened in porch to sit out and enjoy the view. We brought our golf cart and boat and had an awesome stay. Campground is clean and everyone is super friendly. Krista was very great in communicating and we are ready to book our next stay there."

"The property was very nice and peacful. If you are looking to get away from the everyday rush in this world, this would be the right spot. My husband and I enjoyed our stay very much. There was an incident that was out of everyones control, but the property owners handled it well. Nick and Erika were wonderful hosts. They even brought us some bread pudding from a restaurant they had visited (they did invite us to come along but my hubby and I were pooped). It was a vacation we will not forget....

"The bed was not made the mattress cover was more then disgusting a blanket as thin as the sheets I had to put on the nasty bed bath tub was dirty toilet dirty full can of trash in the bathroom kitchen counters had stuff smeared all over them floors didn't look like they had been cleaned or swept in a very long time 1/2 roll of tp very disappointed the lake was great very pretty but would not rent one of those places again I took some pic but the bed was nasty!!!!!"

"The view is amazing, but the rest not so much. I would have preferred an additional seat other than the futon, it was very uncomfortable. Although empathized "no smoking", someone had smoked in the trailer and there was even an ashtray on a table in the living room. I saw roaches and a sock in the living room. I checked out after one night."

"Management was on site and available, very helpful and easy to work with. The cabin was campy, a bit older, but well maintained. Everything appeared clean, linens were spotless, and there were no bugs visible. The cabin is cooled by two window air conditioners one at the front, and one at the back. Thank you for making my escape comfortable."

The cabin had everything we needed and wanted and was close to amenities and things to do - the highlights being hiking the Yearling Trail in Ocala National Forest, kayaking Juniper Springs and swimming/floating in Salt Springs.
