Property has an excellent location directly on the ocean with panoramic views. It also has a spectacular pool area with fire pits and great outside seating area. They provide convenient parking and shuttle transportation to downtown Newport. Lastly, the staff throughout the property was friendly, competent and accommodating. I would recommend this property highly.

Although we stayed for 1 day it was great. The staff was nice and knowledgeable, they are dog friendly and the view was to die for. The breakfast was buffet-style and the option was good plus it tasted great. All in all I loved my experience of this hotel.

The property was recently remodeled the rooms are newer and cleaner so are the hallways and common area’s . They changed the breakfast to buffet style and now the menu is limited plus food is cold by the time you sit to eat it. The service in the rooms is very poor they do not clean the rooms only make your bed and leave towels also AC did not work the 3 days I was there they sent someone up once all though we called 3 times

We enjoyed our stay. The outdoor pool and grounds had us decide on booking this resort and we are glad we did!

The building, property and view were amazing. However, the wi-fi was spotty and often weak, the television channels were sparse, and the electric was downright abysmal. Plugging in the room provided Nespresso machine knocked out the power in the room. It happened twice and was informed not to use it in again. We switched rooms and the bathroom electric could not accommodate the hair dryer that was provided. The hair dryer burned out and blew the receptacle to which the button was stuck and it could not be reset until someone came to fix it. Also the trash bin in the bathroom (or elsewhere) does not come with a plastic bag. This is not hygienic for the housekeeping staff who could be exposed to unsanitary conditions. I hope management considers these comments because the property really is beautiful.

Superior service , 5 star grounds . This was my second time staying at Newport Harbor Island resort and I was again impressed with everything . Cant wait to come back . Thank You for a fantastic experience.
