"Our experience at this cabin in was outstanding. It’s a perfect retreat for anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and immerse themselves in nature. The hosts were very responsive. They live right across the street if anything happened to come up. Nothing did, but it was good to know. I can’t recommend it highly enough and can’t wait to return for another visit!"

"The one-room cabin was overall wonderful. The view of the Trout Lake is beautiful, and the cabin is centrally located for any destination you want to get to. The host was polite, and answered every question or concern we had almost immediately. The little heater in the bathroom was a big plus. Towels and blankets were plentiful and the entire cabin was cleaned with some cooking utensils which made making dinner easy. Overall amazing stay!"

"This is a nice small cabin with a great view of the lake. We stayed for one weekend off season but I am sure it is a great place to vacation in the summer. It has everything you need, very clean, and the hosts go out if their way to make sure you are comfortable. It is an upgrade from camping but if luxury is your style, it isn’t for you."

"Super close to Tahuamenon Falls State Park. Very quiet area, well stocked, clean and comfortable. Nice deck for relaxing or out by the fire pit. Would stay again and recommend to friends. There is a stair case to get up to living area so if you can't navigate stairs well if wouldn't recommend. No issues for us but elderly people may have issues."

"The property was just as listed. Nice space for a large group of women. We didn't need to use the cute little stove as the weather was warm. Two of us used the screened-in porch as a bedroom--such a nice view of the stars and great breezes! Kitchen was perfect for light cooking--everything there for our needs. Plenty of towels! "Our family of 4 stayed at this house for a short getaway to ride the trails around Newberry. The location has easy access to the trails by sled, as well as a gas station. Being in town, restaurants and grocery stores are nearby and available. The way the driveway is situated makes it easy to pull your trailer in for loading and unloading your equipment.
