This was my second time in the same hotel and surprisingly they gave me exact same room but this time the experience was awful. Firstly, the girls except one were very rude and disrespectful without considering the needs of their customers. On my visit, i notice there was no chair nor microwave in my room. i called the front desk and request for a chair, which she later brought but no microwave as it was going to be difficult to warm my food at night but the girl was very rude by saying there was not meant to be a microwave in the room but i challenge her that i have stayed in this hotel and fortunately same room before and i know there are microwaves in all room for one's comfort before she change her tune saying they don't have anyone to give to me that if i want to warm my food that i have to come down to the front desk and ask them to buzz open the canteen for me to warm my food which was to totally unacceptable by me. i told her then if she can't provide one then she have to move me to another room that has one but she refused insisting that what the manager said. There was apology nor let me see what i could do to resolve the situation.
To make this trip so sad and more uncomfortable, there were time i would like to have a warm food very late at night but couldn't as i found it difficult leaving my room in the second floor to go the front desk to ask for them to open the canteen for me thus having to sleep without eating sometimes. i made several efforts, even speaking to another girl at the front desk but got worse attitude than the first but nothing changed. Also there were times, i would come down to the front desk for them to open the canteen only to find there was nobody at the front desk and i had to wait for them come back before i can warm my food which was dishearten. Only one of the girls was very nice and politely and she tried to help but couldn't .
Overall, my second experience with the hotel was not welcoming and uncomfortable thus making me have change of mind. its a nice hotel in a nice location which i would have love to try again but for this experience i think i might want to try somewhere else and might probably recommend the hotel to friends travelling to bronx but warn them also about the attitude of some of the staffs and probably an insight about my first and second experience.
