I had a fabulous stay. The bed was incredibly comfortable and I felt like I was in a condo. The bathroom was large and there was a nice long desk for me to work at. There was lots of lighting and the building was super cool and a good mix of historic vintage trendiness with modern renovations. They were fixing up the lobby but I’m sure it will be nice when it’s done. The location was safe and fun, with all of the necessary amenities. It’s a great place to stay if you’re travelling from downtown Toronto because you can take the train from Penn Station. It was a very wonderful boutique experience and I would stay again. You could stay in the King room for a week - especially for one. A good place for women travellers who are looking for safety and comfort. They locked the doors every night.

We liked that it was boutique style hotel and all of the vintage aspects. The dining was not yet opened but there were plenty of places nearby. Only downside was the rooms are smaller and we had 2 queen beds so was little tight but the room was nice. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

The Life Hotel was a unique boutique hotel that gave you a home feeling. I liked the character of the rooms and it's history. Loved the pictures from the magazines on the walls. The rooms were modern, spacious, quiet and very clean. I was given a steamer to use for my clothes. Worked beautifully. Large TV in the room. The front door person was super helpful and friendly. He assisted with accessibility. I liked the little cafe for a quick bite to eat but it is rather expensive. The hotel was undergoing some construction as they are making a restaurant next to the lobby. It is going to be finished soon they said. Check in and out was fast and efficient. The elevator to the 10th floor was slow and it is small. Not a problem for us. Loved the marble stairs and the small workout room. Last, the filtered water and ice machine came in very handy. I would definitely stay here again.

I enjoyed my recent stay at the Life Hotel and was pleasantly surprised by the size of the room, the cleanliness of the facility, the friendly staff and the small but well appointed gym. The hotel is convenient to Penn Station, subway stations, restaurants and shopping, which puts it in an almost perfect location to get around Manhattan. I’ll admit, I was disappointed that despite the large room, there was neither a mini fridge nor a coffee maker which are pretty standard in any hotel in Europe. There was a nice cafe in the lobby run by a friendly barista, plus many other coffee shops in close walking distance. I’ll happily stay at the Life again I’ll just make sure to pack my Nespresso machine too!

Perfect location for walking around Manhatten. Lovely to come back to a clean and comfortable room each night. The beds are very comfy! Not far to walk to subway or Penn station for getting to airports. Would definitely recommend this hotel, thanks for a great stay!
