The staff was very helpful. Most especially they greet everyone when they are exiting or entering the hotel, they always refresh the room really well. (Made the bed, changed towels, cleaned etc). In one instance some mistake happened that they cleaned out my food when I was away. They made up by giving me breakfast for rest of my stay. It was a truly exceptional service overall.

Hotel staff are very courteous and professional. They went out of their way to be helpful . There was an initial hiccup due to Expedia not communicating the details of the booked package properly. The hotel front office manager took the trouble to contact Expedia and sorted out the problem. In future I will be wary of using Expedia for hotel booking. Safer to do it direct with the property.

Excellent stay at this hotel. They checked us in early and the doorman ‘Barry’ was just the best. Staff were friendly. Room was larger than most NYC hotels. Great location. Loved it

We stayed for a weekend with my wife. The hotel has a great location and it's nicely decorated. The staff is great! They are helpful and kind. The room was clean and looked fancy. The only thing we were not so happy about was the size of the room. It had a King size bed but the room itself was small. It has all you need but if you are carrying luggage there's no room to place it. We were carrying only 2 handbags and we were OK. So check the size of the room before you book it.

Rooms are a bit small but well appointed. My only issue was there was not room to unpack because there were no clothes drawers. Otherwise, the staff were friendly. Rooms well modern and clean. Central to everything. It was very nice.

Extremely small rooms
Even for Manhattan standards, the room was extremely small. Once I realized that, I tried to talk to the front desk to see if there were any other options or even adding another room to the reservation. Initially, the individuals at the front desk were really nice and gave me the card of the assistant general manager so I could speak to him since he was the one who could help with the issue. His name was Wei. The next morning I tried to reason with him and he was exceptionally rude. Wei was extremely unfriendly and not even willing to sympathize. A direct opposite of the experience that I had the night before with the night staff, I wish I had gotten their names because they were definitely way better at customer service. For $600+ a night, I expected better.
