It is fine for its price. Room is small, but everything is clean and neat.

This is a budget hotel, so you can't expect any of the amenities that come with hotels at twice the price. But it has what you need: a clean and comfortable bed, a bathroom with a shower and hot water, and an air conditioner lets you sleep in comfort.
There's not much staff on site. But you have a code for entering the building and your room when you want.
I was pleasantly surprised with the property's use of limited space to make for a perfectly comfortable place to sleep at night or rest between outings.
The location provides easy access to the subway (N and R lines) and it within easy walking distance of Nolita and SoHo. If you're up for a longer walk, Chelsea and Lower East Side are within reach, too.

I liked that it’s located in SoHo. I didn’t like how I was told they keep a photo copy of your ID on file and you have to sign a contract but this wasn’t mentioned beforehand.
Elevator, hallway & comforter smelled musty.
I didn’t like how loud and clear someone’s tv blaring after midnight came thru crystal clear in my room and there’s no staff on site to assist. Also the shower should have been cleaner…
Front desk staff were nice.

The checkin process was weird and while it worked out, i wasn’t confident that i did it right ti we checked in…. It worked out ok, but wasn’t clear it could all be done on my phone even the room key

The walls were filthy. The towels were paper thin. Being along Canal Street was incredibly noisy but the walls were also very thin. All this would have been ok it the price had been low but I paid more than $300 per night.

Not worth the “cheap” rate — towels were old and scratchy, food was left in the refrigerator, the room was dark and the elevator smelled rank. When I told the front desk attendant at check in, he just shrugged. The best part was the shower, small but a great shower head. Gun-ho (spelling is off) who was at the front desk when I left was the absolute best part of the whole stay. Gun-ho gave 5 star service and was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the area.
