Small room but functional and clean. Very noisy. Air con unable to switch off properly. Long queues to check in. Breakfast crowded and awful food choice. Avoid if vegan. Go to cafes around corner. Pizza shop opposite. Hotel right next to broadway and times square. Baggage man was really helpful when my booked car failed to arrive and got me a taxi to airport. Plan extra time as roadworks in and out manhatten to jfk awful. Bus around manhatten easy, use contactless card at entry, cheap and air conditioned. Need 3 hrs plus for met, lovely helpful staff. Guggenheim disappointing and staff rude. Moma excellent. New york is very polluted with car fumes and stinks. Avoid if bad chest.

Fabulous location right in the heart of Times Square. Central location to all the major attractions and Subway. Rooms were very small and breakfast was adequate. Housekeeping was every other day but on demand as well.

This hotel is great. Amazing location (a bit busy and in the heart of the action - but you’re literally 3 mins away from everything touristy in the Times Square area). All the staff were kind, friendly, and knowledgeable. Special shout out to Aaron - Michael. Everyone was great, he just happened to be the agent to check us in and out, and hooked us up with a great room and early check in. Elevators at this hotel are big and fast - a rare treat for a NYC hotel. A bit of delay (the most minor delay I’ve ever seen in the city) in the morning for breakfast (expected) but that’s the only time. Breakfast is slightly below average quality for a hotel breakfast - but it’s free and it works so no complaints from us. Room was a decent size for NYC, was recently renovated/modernized/built and was very clean!

Ac didn’t work. Promised to fix before we got back from our evening. Didn’t. Had to delay getting ready for bed by at least an hour before fixed. Still never got below 70.

The hotel staff was excellent! Friendly and very welcoming. The room was a little warm couldn’t seem to get the temperature lower to cool it down other than that a great stay!

Not value for money.Small rooms but too expensive.Breakfast terrible and not enough places to seat.Elevators not user friendly, poor assistance from staffs.No washroom in the lobby, had to walk downstairs to use a smelly washroom.Worse hotel ever though at good location for errands.

I truly enjoyed staying here during my trip to NYC, it was very accessible to get to Times Square/ all the arounding areas!! Would definitely recommend to stay for another trip :)

It was clean and the staff we nice. We were able to walk around outside with the kids and had plenty of places and stores to go with them. The hotel Parking for us was definitely a huge help. The only issues we had were the elevators were hard to get and always packed. Also the breakfast buffet was a complete mess. Everyone was as cutting in front and pushing us out of the way. It took a long time to get the coffee and food refilled once it was empty. They need some kind of system for that.

The staff at this property were amazing. They were extremely helpful and about all things NYC. The biggest negative is the AC in the room was not effective leading to very warm and uncomfortable conditions during the stay.

Hotel was in a good location for us and the rate was reasonable, but they simply do not give patrons enough room. I know one cannot expect spacious accommodations in Manhattan, especially at a discount rate, but the room was so small that you could not turn around in it and one had to sidestep to get between the bed and what little furniture existed to get to the bathroom or the exit. Quite frankly, the lack of space bordered on being a human rights violation IMO. Staff at the front desk were fairly polite and tried to be helpful, but they weren't exactly empowered to do anything much for patrons and the rest of the staff were brusque at best and unfriendly at worst. Tissue-thin walls also lead to major noise issues - even by Manhattan standards. The AC control gave one the illusion of control over their environment w/o having any actual effect. The HVAC system had a very noisy fan that would kick on and off every 5 minutes - ensuring that you would wake up every 5 minutes as a result. If there was an option to either just let the fan run or turn it off entirely it wouldn't have been bad - but the constant change in background noise every 5 minutes or so never failed to pull me out of sleep. Do not recommend. Will not stay here again.

The hotel is brand new. The beds were really hard and uncomfortable. They probably just need to be broken in. We didn't sleep much the first night, but after that we were so exhausted that we were able to sleep. The breakfast offerings are decent, there is a different potato, sausage and egg choice each day, but the area is packed and you have to wait for seating or go downstairs. There is a waffle maker, but the line is about 30 minutes long. Housekeeping is every other day for towels and trash, then after day 4, you get beds made too. Deposit is $100 per night up to 7 nights. Staff was fine. The entrance is only revolving doors and you have to walk around the lobby line to get to the elevators. There are plenty of elevators though. In the mornings, you do have a few minute wait because an elevator will show up and be full, so plan ahead for that. The rooms are really small. There is only enough room for one person at a time to walk between the wall and the end of the bed. We did utilize the shelving/closet area to make the most of the space. It was fine for myself and my two teenagers, but we would not have fit comfortably if my husband had been with us. The location is great, but I would probably not stay again due to the beds being so uncomfortable.

The hotel is a convenient walk to Times Square and a short walk to Central Park, Rockefeller Center, Empire State and more. The room was small and had limited space for storage if planning a long stay. Staff was not super friendly. Rarely greeted us in the hallway. It also would have been nice to have a service elevator for staff as the elevator space was small and would be cramped with service carts. But we always felt very safe and they had great amenitiies.

The hotel is in an excellent location Midtown. The poor rating is for two reasons: 1. the elevator system was terrible. I can understand why they want a secure system by using the key card to get to a floor but this caused interminable delays every single day and night. I waited for an elevator down for 10 minutes on one occasion, 6 minutes on another. Going up could also be a long wait at certain times. 2. Breakfast: yes, outline that there is a traffic light system and 6am is best but at almost any time the breakfast room was like feeding time at the zoo! Loads of people milling about trying to get food but also trying to obtain a seat at which to eat it! And the food choice was very, very dull - every morning , an omelette of some sort along with some potato-based option and either bacon, sausage or sausage patty - boring!!!

The property did not charge me the price Expedia said. Rooms were not ready upon arrival and my party had to wait a really long time, my friends had a really bad experience in the elevators with someone jamming themselves in it.

Staff is very friendly. Rooms are kept clean, housekeeping is every other day. But they do stop by everyday to ask if you need anything such as towels, sheets or any other amenities they offer (if you are in the room) at various hours. Breakfast was great but you need to get there early or all the seats will be taken. Waffles are the best. The only thing I didn’t like is that the front desk never do what I ask for. They always tell me “we will take care of it” like yes men but they never do; such as skip house keeping days, came in early and asked if they could call me back when the room is ready, if they could call a taxi. Then when you ask them what happened, they would apologize….

While the area to eat breakfast was large, it was still quite crowded so it was often hard to find a place to sit. Associated with that issue, the eating area is where luggage is stored during the day. This leaves very little lobby to congregate in.

This hotel had an unusual elevator system with too many people and too few elevators. It could take 15 minutes to get from our floor to the lobby because the elevators were continually packed at certain times of the day. Same issue with breakfast, too many people for the space and food. In addition, the AC ran off and on all night, loudly.
