Superb front desk, very friendly. Slower elevators but other than that, great stay. Very accommodating staff and great location. Free breakfast in NYC is hard to come by so that was a nice perk too.

I really loved the service provided by all the hotel staff from the front desk, bell man, kitchen staff and hotel customer service manager Jeffrey. Every staff member were friendly, helpful, polite and very informative.

The location of the hotel is excellent for getting around manhattan , very central for sightseeing and close to the subway stations if going a longer distance . The staff were all very friendly and professional and the rooms were clean , comfortable and larger than we expected for New York . The only downside was the breakfast , it was complete chaos every morning . The area is far too small to cater for that amount of people , we found ourselves grabbing some food and taking it back to our rooms . This experience for us was unacceptable and would , with regret stop us ever going back .

Best part of this stay was the location and the staff - everyone was very friendly and attentive to our needs. Our room was smaller than anticipated due to sharing space with the elevator and our fridge did not work well. The breakfast was decent. Great location and walkable from a lot of sights and food. DO NOT recommend using the hotel's shuttle service for the airport -- you are better off using Uber or Lyft, even if it is more expensive. We had a terrible time with our shuttle - the driver was late, he did not drive well (made us sick to our stomachs and he also cut off an ambulance which was really inappropriate), it was very hot and AC did not work well, we were not informed that they would be stopping at other hotels, and I would have missed my flight due to issues with this shuttle if I did not have TSA precheck to get me through security. It was a really unnecessarily stressful experience.

Fairfield is our preferred hotel based on the HOT breakfast. This location was overly crowded with insufficient seating and ran out of food. When food was added, it was cold, including the eggs. The neighborhood was unsavory. Staff was excellent and accomodations were otherwise good.

This hotel is very, very busy. The free breakfast certainly adds value. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. It is a block or two from a lot of retail and food and beverage options. It is also close to MSG. The elevators are very slow and not able to keep up with demand. The AC in the room works but if you like it cold, it won't happen. All in all, the pros outnumber the cons. I would stay there again.
