Cute little room in historic building. Clean, Quiet and close to everything. Parking lot P409 a few short blocks away for $25 overnight was perfect. Front desk guy was very friendly. Don’t know why they show a hot tub on website but there is not one. Will definitely go back. If your used to big modern hotel stick with that, your probably to picky for this “small, rundown” piece of history.

Room right on the street is a bit dicey… one must walk down 2 doors to courtyard… but the price is right for those street rooms. Staff not able to help me correct the double charge until someone more knowledgeable showed up as I was checking out…. but the 24 h Quartermaster just down the block was a real plus! I had a great stay…. love the location.

We absolutely loved this property. The location was perfect. Surprising for such an old building our room had plenty of space. The building and rooms still had the old charm. The shower stall was extremely small but that really is too be expected in these old buildings. The cable TV went out a few times but that was because of Cox cable not the hotel. We weren't in NOLA to sit around watching TV anyway.

It's a cute boutique hotel located towards the "quieter" side of the French Quarter. Just a 2 1/2 block walk from Lafitte's Blacksmith Shop on Bourbon and about 4 blocks from the French Market. IF YOU MUST DRIVE (and I highly recommend a taxi or Uber/Lyft even if you are local): a) there is no passenger unloading zone so you will be partially blocking the street as you check-in and unload. Fellow drivers who can't fit down the street will just have to wait and deal with it and b) designated parking is 5 blocks away in a secured lot. There is no valet service or a ride back to the hotel. Parking was $140 for the 2 night stay we were there. If you are handicapped, have a lot of heavy bags, or don't do stairs very well...the stairs to the 2nd floor rooms are steep and narrow. There is no elevator. Also, bring extension cords and multi-plugs with you to charge cell phones because in our 2 queen room with 3 people, there were only 2 plugs in the bedroom available that were being shared with a lamp and the coffee maker.
