The staff were very helpful. Though the menu options are limited the food is good. The room is clean. My only suggestion is that the drapes don’t close all the way so too much light at night.

The property was disgusting. A roach jumped on me off the front desk upon arrival. The building is old and falling apart. The first room they put us in they were still doing maintenance on so we had to switch late at night, annoying when wanting to get there and go to bed. The tub would not drain in 2nd room they told me it was a “build up of months of hair” DISGUSTING!!! A worker was literally painting the baseboards white painting over dirt, hair, dust, bugs. The rooms were slanted like the building is about to collapse. I would have moved if it weren’t for being attached to the venue we were performing at. Do not recommend staying here. It is not anything like a Hilton. It’s more like a run down Motel 6 in the most run down area.

There were pubic hairs in the tub - that were there when I checked in. It was past midnight and after traveling all day, I had no energy to deal with it. Unsure if the tub was actually cleaned between guests; I had a friend bring some bleach and cleaned it so I knew it was clean.

For a Hilton property, the rooms could use an update. Also, none of the toilets flushed in the lobby restroom or our room. Breakfast buffet was not available due to low occupancy! Would not stay here again unless I had to.

Somewhat worn and "tired", but the staff was friendly and our room was clean. They have a nice pool and pretty planting around the hotel. Right next to the levee, and the park there was a pretty walk.

Smells like mold throughout the hotel. Dirty/stained carpets. Phone doesn’t work in room 316. Floor on room 316 is sinking. A/C in room 216 is not working but manager doesn’t do anything because it still blows air. Front desk stated they have no clean towels. Housekeeping asked why do I need towels if I checkout today at 1200, even when it’s 9:30 am (I guess I’ll use my kid’s wet towel). Bath tub on 316 was clogged and maintenance never showed up. We had to shower with ankle deep water. Pillows and bedding stink.

Sad excuse for Hilton
This hotel hasn't been updated since Katrina. On top of that the entire establishment didn't have hot water for the 2 out of 3 nights I had booked. I don't know about the 3rd night because I left without checking out, figured they needed the money. People were friendly but obviously accustomed to being subpar at best. Hilton should be embarrassed to have their name on this "Hotel"

I paid 400 for this room. Room smelled very musty. The toilet was leaking on the floor. Containers in shower were empty. 6 people in the room but only 2 towels. Hallways smelled like pot. Very old not updated. also music playing all night.

Hotel from Hell Literally
I booked this hotel to celebrate Mardi Gras. The price had already doubled more than it would normally so I expected top tier service. Well I was quickly and sadly displeased. Upon arrival at 3pm for check in I was advised that a King suite was not available and I would have to wait 45 minutes. From this point forward the stay here went to hell. After driving 12 hours I was unable to check in on time. I wait 45 minutes and still no room available. Everyone kept apologizing but no one was acting with urgency. After 430pm I was given a room. I asked for the GM and manager and was told they were not available. Because I was with my family I did not have the time to pursue this in person as I would’ve liked but I did let staff know I was going to contact the GM. Once we get keys we check into a King suite that looks like the motel room from hell. The room was an eyesore. First off the floor was slanted. The room ceiling was pealing paint. The bathtub was rusted. The ceiling was disgusting on there. I was too tired to have them switch us rooms and it from what I was told there weren’t any. I’ve never experienced a stay like this. Not ever. The king suite was definitely not sweet. Nothing was appealing about it. We felt as if we had to just deal with. We got out the damn hotel so fast and will never be back! I am wanting compensation of at least half of Friday nights stay. The delay in check in ruined plans my family and I had that evening. I will be contacting the GM.

Well I booked my stay months in advance. 2 king rooms. When I checked in they overbooked and could only give me one king and double queen.The front desk said I could have an item out if the pantry which is their little store on the house for the inconvenience. Which I think is unsatisfactory The double queen room a/c was broken wouldn’t even turn on. So that’s issue number 2.

It did the job.
Last minute trip and all we needed was a place to sleep. It did the job. Problems might’ve came up if we had stayed longer but the only thing we could think of that was actually “negative” was the bathroom floor was sticky when we got to the room.

First room i was given, I opened door and bed wasnt made, trash on desk. I went back to counter and they asked if i saw luggage in there. Really? So they gave me another room. I wanted a king bed but they said they didnt have anymore and didnt have anyone that could clean the first room they sent me to. So the second room had 2 queen beds. Food was left in microwave, hair was on shower wall and inside the bottom of tub, room smelled horrible, we didnt have big towels or wash rags in room, all we had was 2 small towels hanging up. Went to counter they gave me 2 big towels but said they didnt have any wash rags that were clean. The hot water in shower wasnt hot it was warm and kept going from warm to cold. They floor in bathroom was dirty. The room had dust all over. I went to a convience store to get bleach to clean the bathroom. Check out was at 12 but at 940 am room service knocked on door and opened it and said hello, i was in bed. I said ummm im still in here. And she left. This was a trip for my birthday. It was the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. I was shocked cause is carries the "Hilton" name. My birthday experience was horrible.

The staff were exceedingly friendly, but the hotel is dingey. You can tell where the staff tries to clean it, but the hotel is old, and needs general updating.

The lobby was nice and the night clerk was wonderful. When we opened the door to our room we were overwhelmed with the smell of mildew. We decided to live with it rather than the hassle of changing rooms at 10pm with 2 small sleepy children. The bathroom was dirty and the floors hasn’t been vacuumed. While the lobby and elevator looked recently updated, the 2nd floor was in much need of work.
