Started very well though hit issues: 1) door lock failed -- though they fixed in quickly -- within an hour 2) one main light bulb beside the big bathroom mirror was not working -- The fixed in the morning after I reported. 3) parking is okay, though can become crowded if they rent out conf space for various conference functions then a struggle to find parking. Some great positives: 1) all drains and sinks were clog free. 2) Room was clean and quite comfortable bedding 3) breakfast was above average -- hot and varied over the 2 days we were there, With rapid repairs and positives, I would stay here again

We checked in for the horse show and opted as a group 12 people to eat in the hotel restaurant, it had three active tables but the rude. supervisor stated , “wow, 12 people and no reservation”, we were the only other table besides three more. As a food and beverage director it was rude and disrespectful. would not return.

Hotel is quite old and in desperate need of renovations. They HAVE begun them in the corridors but have not yet renovated the rooms. Despite its age it is clean however. I would probably stay there again but definitely looking forward to a post renovation experience. Don’t pay any more than $150/ night CDN for it in its current condition.

Property was in good condition, seemed to have been recently renovated because it seemed new’ish’. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Only dislike was access to the stairways since we often us the stairs instead of the elevator. We found that the stairways were not easily found as a person would expect (due to the staggered layout I’m guessing) but we did not take the time to follow the exit signs. Overall, this is an excellent hotel and would recommend it.
