“great place to stay a little off the beaten track”
Extremely courteous and mindful of our needs
“the best value for this price”
it was amazing, the hotel had fishing poles and bicycle the beach is 5 minute walk and the price compeer to other hotel in the area is very good and it's very quite the location is a bit annoying but for 10 $ you can take a taxi to Atlantis and the money you save in the hotel is a lot more than 10$ a night
“Nice Experience”
Quiet and nice. A little out of the way, but if you are willing to walk, it's good exercise to get downtown. Comfortable, but no especially spectacular services. There seemed to be very few guests, but it could have been the season. Room was clean and spacious.
“Hidden Paradise, next to Marina”
"Exceptionally clean, bright, clear water beach is a short walk away". "If you like seclusion, this is the place to be! Located next to the marina, you'll love the view from patio, especially at night. Friendly staff, clean accommodations, water taxi and shuttle service are great for getting into town. Restaurant on site.
“Hidden Gem”
This was my gf and my first trip to the Bahamas (Feb 2009) and we had a fantastic time and the Paradise Harbour Club and Marina was a big part of that. The property is not a 4 star all inclusive resort typical of Paradise Island, but if you like clean, quiet and spacious rooms, a friendly staff, added perks like free bike rentals and access to an amazingly pristine and uncrowded beach (8 min walk, 3 min bike ride) all at a reasonable price; this is the place for you. My favorite part was having breakfast every morning on the balcony overlooking the marina and sea, watching sail boats go by. Beautiful! Tip: Try for a top floor if you can to maximize the view. Also, taxis are ridiculously expensive. The hotel has some free shuttle services, but Paradise Island is pretty small and I really recommended the bikes, even downtown Nassau is a short bike ride away and is a great way to see both islands, pick up some groceries or go to the beach. Also, the construction other reviewers have noted is not on this property itself, but next door. When we stayed it was a good way done already and we did not notice any noise at all.
“Hotel made us feel like we were really in Paradise!!”
We cannot say enough good things about this hotel. At first I was a bit skeptical as the cab driver did not know where it was and it is quite secluded. (Ask for the Columbus Tavern Restaurant). We had a 2 bedroom suite which was spotless and fully equipped, including a kitchen that was completely stocked with all things needed for cooking (save the food). The Columbus Tavern Restaurant was lovely, open aired. It was perfection eating a local meal while watching the ships and gulls go by and the Caribbean Breeze cooling us off. The staff will drive you to the beach (a quick walk if you like) and if they are available they will drive you in the golf cart to the local market also. Going into Nassau by boat from the hotel was a highlight of our trip (all of the hotel's transportation was complimentary). Cabbage Beach is one of the finest you will ever see. A short walk up the beach you can go parasailing, banana boating, jet skiing, the kids loved it (bring cash). Since we knew we had a kitchen, we brought snacks and non-perishables with us and bought the makings for breakfast and lunches at the local market. Food is expensive anywhere you go, so bring what you can. Although we had snacks with us, I would have brought nonperishable food (peanut butter etc) and get bread, eggs, etc there. We have been home for a day now, and miss our beautiful balcony view, extremely pleasant staff, beautiful beaches and island perfection.
“Better than expected”
This was our forth trip to Paradise Island and our first stay in this hotel. We "did" Atlantis a few years ago, so this time we were looking for some place away from the big crowds. Since we know the area, we were not surprised by the hotel's location and how "far" it was from most of the attractions. What worked for us was that this hotel was barely 15 min from the most beautiful section of Cabbage Beach. Free bicycles can get you anywhere (5 min to the nearest grocery store, which in my opinion is cheaper and better stocked than the one across from Atlantis). Our rooms was clean, the kitchen has everything one would need, and the pool was GREAT! All rooms have a view of marina, so get ready for some nice, relaxing meals on a terrace. For those who complain about the prices, this is the Bahamas people! If you are looking for a cheap getaway, go to Cuba. It's that simple. This is were rich and famous come to play, and that has it's price.
“A great getaway”
Good hotel, great helpful staff
“Loved Paradise Island!”
We stayed at the Paradise Island Harbor Club and Marina for our daughter's wedding along with many other wedding guests. The wedding was at the Paradise Island Beach Club time share which was a very safe & convenient short walk from our place, even for the groom's elderly grandmother. We chose this location because it allowed flexible check in dates and stay. We could check in other than Sat-Sat and could stay less than 7 days if needed. We appreciated the free bikes as we made many trips back and forth to the other resort. The rooms were very nice and comfortable. Perfect for a tropical vacation. We had everything we needed for cooking and the pool looked lovely and inviting even though I didn't have time to use it as I was too busy with wedding responsiblities and fun. Our rooms were great in that there were two bathrooms for each of our two bedrooms. The 2nd room connected to the kitchen and could have been a separate room without cooking facilitites with an entrance to the outside. My sisters spent more time with Rosalind, our housekeeper, and Peter the shuttle driver. They were both exceptionally helpful and informative about Nassau and they helped them find local shops that they wanted to shop at. Our bags didn't arrive at the airport with us and were delivered to the wrong resort. The young gentleman working the night shift helped track them down and the day staff made two trips to the other resort when they arrived at different times.
“Great place”
Though at first I underwellmed I was very pleaseed at the room, the staff and the location. I would stay here again.

Area:
Paradise Island, New Providence Island, Bahamas: Paradise Island resembles Las Vegas-upon-the-Caribbean with its fanciful resorts and white sands. Tourists often head to the islands casinos, five-star restaurants, and shopping gallerias; its beaches, water parks, and nightclubs, however, are geared primarily for resort guests. The Potters Cay fish market is an easy detour from Paradise Island. Grouper and conch are typical catches of the day.
