Some important things you have to know before booking this hotel: 1. No soundproof. That means you can hear everything from next door. 2. This hotel is dirty and old. See pictures. 3. If you have kids or old people with you, or even for yourselves, you have to be very careful about the bathroom. The floor in the bathroom becomes very wet after bath. Summary: Do NOT book this hotel unless you have to. If you have no other choices, oh well.

Loved the accomodations, room was perfect and very clean. Did not like having to pay to park in the building provided for the hotel parking, there isn't an option. Fees are questionable. Otherwise it's a beautiful property w/great employees.

I liked that this property had all of the features of a resort, although most at a cost, it did make the stay/activities very convenient especially with children. I disliked the major restaurant in the resort, Cafe Amalfi, as I found the food to be overpriced and the servers were not very pleasant. Absolutely loved the wet whistle/beachcombers. The accessibility around the property and neighbouring hotels was unique, however, I did find the Currents Waterpark located at the Embassy to be overcrowded, enjoyed the sand bottom pool more. Overall, our stay was very nice, hotel room was clean; my only issue with the room was that it had carpeting that appeared to be in decent condition, however, it was dated and should be swapped out with some flooring. One aspect of the room that I would also point out is the bathroom… it was very small and difficult to move about comfortable both in the bathroom and the shower; given that I am only 5’2 (F) and quite slim, I can’t imagine how anyone larger than myself would be able to move about in the washroom.

Love the layout of the property. I was able to reserve beach chairs/umbrella and beach towels are offered. There was live band. The room was facing the ocean and it was super clean and updated. Staff friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. This was my second time staying at this location. When it comes to Myrtle beach I haven’t found any where else that makes me want to spend my money.

Had a terrible leak in my room when i first checked in I call front desk atleast 4 times until eventually came to fix but they did not fix it which i noticed in the morning i called again bit no response i eventually walked down to speak with front desk and asked for Manager i explained situation and he apologized and sent up maintenance tech who yes did fis the leak but ithis was a total lesson of unprofessional treatment at its finest...
