After reading reviews i was scared this place was going to be dirty. I was pleasantly surprised when we checked in. It was cleaned and smelled good. The only bad thing is the beds are not great and there is almost no water pressure in the showers.

Thank you for your feedback, the resort fees are included in your final payment when you booked online all of that information is provided before you confirm and do the final process. normally when we do service its our guest choice if they want it to be done while they are in the room or not, most persons prefer to leave and we go in an clean.

There was only one elevator working for the entire hotel and you had to wait over 10 minutes for it and when it did finally reach your floor sometimes it was too full to get on so you had to wait another 5-10 minutes. There were men in the hall smoking weed and you we could smell it in our room. We decided to check out early so we could beat everyone to the elevator. That was a bad idea because I think a lot of people had that same idea. We waited so long for the elevator we had to take the stairs from the 5th floor with a 5 month old with a stroller and out bags.

Whole entire weekend only one elevator worked. Monday they both magically worked. Never got clean towels or wash cloths when they said i would.

I wants to apologize for the issue with the elevators that was beyond our control and for safety only one was functional until issue resolved completely. Once the issue is brought to our attention and is the request is made for extra towels they would be given.

We stayed there May 2023, It is in process of still being remodeled. So couple inconveniences there with pool area not having a bathroom, our room wasn’t the tidyest. Beds and Towels were clean but the rest of the room needed a good scrub. And a fresh coat of paint. Like I said still in their season of remodeling.

I understand this property is under renovations but that should have been stated prior to booking. Rooms are half done and missing chairs to be able to sit down on something other than the bed. Front counter staff were rude at check in and check out and would rather talk on their personal phone yhen greet paying clients. Only good thing was the beach was right there and easy to access. Hotel should offer beach chairs though. Everytime my daughter and i wanted to go to the pool or beach we had to walk through an active construction area.

Thanks for the feedback; and yes we are just completing some renovations and upgrades to the property; we apologize for any inconvenience. the beach is not privately owned by GBR, therefore we cant offer beach chairs to guest as the city has a contracted company that does that. there is a designated are to walk due to the construction that was happening and signs were placed giving directions where to go.

I did not enjoy my stay at all. I will not stay there again. The room next to me was smoking and loud music. Beds are hard . Towels where filtgy.

One of the elevators was broken and the other was running slow. Property was a little out dated but room was clean and the view was great. Unfortunately, sitting on the balcony to enjoy the view was diminished by other guests smoking marijuana. The stench was horrible. Staff was friendly. Overall, I wouldn't stay again at the price I paid.

The room view was excellent, the room was big and clean. The facility was dated and the grounds were a mess from construction taking place. Pool was open, but due to construction taking place, was dirty and noisy, yet we had a resort fee.

Very basic stay on the beach ... ocean front property with nice staff but no thrills, plastic broken chairs on the balcony, 5 messages that we have to check out at 10am or pay extra (even though hotel empty during the week), warnings car can be towed away from their garage even though 5 cars parked there out of 100 spots ... nothing really friendly there except that is ocean front.

I’m not one to leave a bad review… Not only did they stick us in the lone room directly across from the elevator and next to the lobby on the main floor but we had no hot water for the entirety of our stay. I work in the business and after reaching out to the front desk they just said to run the water (which I already attempted). No offer to move rooms or find a solution. Also the lack of cleanliness makes me cringe. Prior guest hairs all over the room and “clean” towels. The floors and floorboards were not clean as well. One of the main lights in the room literally flickered when turned on. The only good thing about this stay was the view minus being on the main level. The hotel claimed to be renovated but it was obvious it was still undergoing renovations.

The staff at this property were wonderful. The rooms were fairly clean, but I am a clean freak. The ocean view was fantastic My only complaints. There was no place to hang your towels in the bathroom other than the handles on the shower doors and there was absolutely no place to hang up your clothes, not a closet not a bar. That was really inconvenient.

I loved this stay so much we will be back just for that area alone everyone is so friendly the accessible food was amazing as well as the shopping and activities! I do wish it was specified that the mail pool wasn’t working & the restaurant attached to the hotel was also closed so that was unexpected but fine. All things considered we will definitely be staying again in the future

No hot water! The property knows they don’t have hot water! I called and asked and they said to just run the water for 10-15 minutes which is a terrible waste and it did not work! The next day right before check out, we tried to run the water again and luckily it came on. We did get a phone call about late check out, but we explained that we were going to shower finally and they understood. Beginning at 7 AM housekeeping is making their rounds and yelling from floor to floor to each other which woke me up. I had to call the front desk around 9 AM because I could not sleep and they did ask them to quiet down. The parking garage has a pool area attached and the pool is gross and filled with algae. The place was cheap and run down and icky. We left after one night. I also saw that they post their rooms for rent on Airbnb and saw other reviews mentioning the lack of hot water. I think it’s insane to keep renting out rooms knowing that there’s no hot water available.

I want to apologize for the inconvenience caused, sometimes the hot water may need to ran for a few minutes longer to get hot to your liking, We do not have Housekeeper on property until 9 am on a daily basis, our pool is at the back of the building to the beach our parking lot is at the front of the building. At Grande Beach takes great pride in the service our hotel provides, and we're always looking for ways to improve those services, identify training opportunities, and provide outstanding guest experience and do so by continuous upgrades of our hotel facilities and services, which take us from good to best on our quest to satisfy our valued guests.

Unfortunately the property isn’t what is pictured. The covered pool was closed, our door handle to the balcony came off when opening it, we weren’t given clean towels everyday bc they didn’t have them. Asked for a broom so we could sweep the floors, didn’t have any to give, went and bought my own. Elevators were not clean, along with property, trash was always over flowing. Ordered cookies for our room and they were all expired February 2024. Place was not family friendly unfortunately, it was loud noisy and couldn’t get away from the cigarette smoke and smell.

I want to apologize for the inconvenience, service is not done daily unless its requested. If you asked for the broom and did not get it at that moment, this means someone is either using it or its in another location other than the front desk and they are assisting other guest so they wont be able to assist immediately. If an item is purchased from the gift shop and is not good, our guest are more than welcome to let us know and get it change or refunded. we do have our housemen remove garbage and walk the floor daily, if we are at full capacity the garbage cans will get full faster than the usual. as for the smoke, we are smoke free resort and person do get penalized for smoking on property. and also when its reported we always get the issue fixed ASAP.
