"We were there for two weeks. We started off with a family row that was horrid. Michael checked in and was very gracious. I’m not sure I would have been as understanding as he was. But it was very nice to be treated as an intelligent adult. The house is very comfy cosy. I couldn’t find a blanket to add to the bed for early mornings when it was a bit chilly, but it was exceptional for all but that hour or so. "We enjoyed every bit of our stay we loved the house was very close to most of the wineries! That was an A+ for us!!! The stay was amazing our host checked in us from time to time very nice person as well the house is nicely well kept clean organized with water bottles snacks coffee tea fruit!!! Has a mini fridge that was pretty convenient for us and the microwave. The weather was beautiful and overall we enjoyed our lil anniversary getaway!!!"

"Moonrise Cottage is a perfect place to escape every day stress and chaos. The remote location is very quiet and worth the effort. Cottage itself has a an eclectic decorating style. It’s got everything you need. Heidi is a wonderful host. I had lots of questions about directions etc. to get there and she was very prompt in answering and very clear on how to get there. My wife and I plan to return to this oasis."

"Pros Great location in Dana Point Very clean and quiet Room for one car in driveway, possibly 2 small cars. Cons Description says it will sleep 6, we booked for 5 and paid the extra charge. However there were only 4 bath towels and minimal bedding - luckily 3 of our party couldn’t make it - I don’t think it would have worked for 5. It was fine for two.
