The house was clean, cool, and appealing - very comfortable for 2 couples and 2 singles. The porch was lovely for afternoon and end of day visits - with hammocks, seating chairs, and outside dining space available. “The property is amazing. Only received low score based on accuracy of listing. My cabin was not one that was pictured, however I did still enjoy the cabin and it was cool and comfortable. “The listing does not show the cabana in question. As we were the only guests at the time, we were given the option of 2 different cabanas neither of which matched the pics in the in listing. The cabana we ended up with had 2 very tiny bedrooms with no place to put our luggage. The washroom needed upgrades as the shower head was hanging on for it's life. The cabana itself smelled extremely musty. The entire property could use repairs and upgrades: toilet seat falling off type of repairs. On the……

“We stayed at Terry's house for a portion of our trip. The location was a ways up the hill which was perfect for us. The neighborhood was clean and quiet and the views were fantastic. After exploring the area during the day it was refreshing to comeback and watch the sunset from the pool.”

“Overall a very nice place to stay with family. Quiet neighborhood, away from hustle and bustle of down town. The kitchen has everything you could need, and the patio/pool was a plus. “The home was well set up for family's with games and great kitchen and Living room space. However there was only one air conditioning unit in the master bedroom, this cooled that room only. Mattresses in the two additional rooms were so thin you touched the frame when you sat down. We visited in the cool, wet season, 80’s, and the home was very very hot. If you’re tolerant of the heat you will be fine. Quiet neighborhood. Beautiful views.”

“We had a wonderful stay at the Mahogany Hall. They were so friendly and accommodating. The food was absolutely delicious. They made sure that we were able to eat before our tours in the morning and even prepared our dinner a little early on the day of our arrival because we had not eaten. Cant say enough, it was so wonderful.”

“The place was big, beautiful tile and wood work. No hot water, hard to find, no one to meet us, had to hunt down someone to open it. Stove did not work. Not enough blankets. Beds were uncomfortable. “The good- The Cooling Rack restaurant has two of the best meals we had in Belize - Crispy Pineapple Jerk Chicken (not the one served in the pineapple) and the Chaya Maya Pasta were phenomenal. The pools were great to cool down in and there was space for everyone. It’s a nice location with good views and a cute atmosphere. The bad- The service was really unpredictable; we had good experiences around the pool and in the Cooling Rack, but less pleasant experiences with the front desk, the sushi……
