“Great little cabin that was just enough to meet our needs. We spent most of the day exploring the surrounding area but looked forward to coming back to the cabin each evening. It was comfortable and welcoming. We loved how close we were to a variety of different locations. The mattress was a bit too soft for our liking but everything else was great.”

“The only great thing about this listing were the beds. It was next to the main road entering Carmel so it is noisy and the property is actually not a home (this site is called vacation rentals by owners, right?) it is a run down inn. The bathroom has not been renovated in ages and the drain let off a sulphur scent that could be smelled in the bedroom. The description mentions an outdoor terrace but it is just an unappealing space off the parking space.”

“We loved our stay, the property and location. We booked Jasmine Cottage. The owner had another cottage available that was larger and graciously offered it to us. It was perfect because we had our dog and dog crate so we enjoyed the extra space. We were overlooking the creek and could hear the water from our deck. It was the best sleep I’ve ever had away from home. We will definitely stay there again when in the area.”

“Joe was an excellent host and great communicator. Got an email from him early the day of check in that place was ready and we could check in early. The only issue I have is saying place is ocean view is a bit of a stretch. You can see the ocean on the horizon through the trees etc. There is no real view. You will be in your car to go to beach and restaurants as its beyond what most people would walk. Its 30 plus minutes to walk to beach and if you wanted a chair or cooler or any such thing its……
