Our chalet boasts three bedrooms, including one with a king-sized bed, one with a queen-sized bed, and another with two twin beds. Additionally, there are two full bathrooms, along with two sleeper sofas in the living room, providing comfortable accommodation for up to eight adults.

Immerse yourself in the serenity of nature on our expansive 14+ acre wooded property, complete with amenities such as an outdoor fire pit, a propane grill, and more.

Rest easy knowing that essentials like towels, linens, pillows, soap, and shampoo are all provided for your convenience.

Once in a lifetime stay
We booked this to be able to see the total solar eclipse. The property was beautiful and we got a perfect view of the sun. It was a bucket list thing for me and it was just amazing. If I ever have a reason to go back up to Montgomery Vermont I would love to stay here again.

Cozy spot
We came for a couple days of skiing at Jay. Two families, eight total. We cooked a lot, ate all together at the table, made a fire etc. Plenty of hot water for showers after skiing. Kitchen pretty well stocked with equipment. There were snowshoes available which two of the children took out for a spin. Road and driveway were tough, but manageable with the right vehicle.

We only booked this house because the listing said it had a hot tub and was pet friendly. There was no hot tub (the first amenity that was listed) at the property. It only a jetted bathtub. We did not appreciate driving 18 hours to not be able to do what . We feel catfished. The owners have since corrected the listing, which is great, but it doesn’t make up for ruining our Christmas plans. Otherwise, the house was fine—clean, decent enough rooms and beds, and private, so that was worthwhile.

Lovely Fall Retreat
First time visiting in the fall and had perfect weather to hike with our dogs at Bear Paw Pond and the trails by the Hazen Notch Welcome Center. The house was exactly as we remembered and we had a great time grilling and relaxing on the deck. We lost power one of the days, Kevin checked with the electric company and kept in touch until the power came back. Looking forward to being back in the winter!

Gorgeous Escape in VT
We loved the chalet! It was so close to the town center and Jay Peak but felt completely private and remote. Our own mountain oasis! Seriously the best of both worlds. Access to everything you could possibly want on vacation. Adorable coffee shop and wood fired pizzas in town for when you don’t feel like cooking but a very well equipped kitchen at the chalet for cozy nights and mornings in. Can’t recommend it highly enough! We will definitely be back

Wonderful Winter Stay!
We had a wonderful stay at this property! The house was very clean, the beds were so comfortable and the overall layout and atmosphere of the house/property was perfect! My husband and I stayed here with our three little children (4, 2 and 6 months) and it met all our needs. It was a quick drive (15-20 mins) to Jay Peak Resort where we enjoyed the mountain and waterpark. Highly recommend this property if you’re looking to enjoy the mountain resort area but also have some privacy in the woods! Host Kevin was also very responsive and the communication was great. Would love to stay here again in the future! Highly recommend!

Lovely Home!
I have nothing but good things to say. Lovely space, very comfy beds, dog friendly, and very private so we could play music. It is definitely even more beautiful than the pics do justice! I request a hot tub addition, LOL! Host was very kind and responsive. I will definitely stay again!

Beautiful Log Cabin in Quiet and Secluded Area
This house was even better then the pictures online! Very rustic feeling inside with excellent decor. The house was very clean and had all the necessities for our trip. Check in was simple and hassle free. Plenty of parking available at the house, huge yard with a fire pit and lots of privacy.
